Crap! All the other photo's show pasty white paddys but when the talk about crime they show "non nationals"

Like I said, the racism is a lot more subtle but its just as insidious.

racism is natural, deal with it
That's easy for you to say - because it hurts like hell to be discriminated against. Trust me, I've been there.

Infact a black person is more likely to commit crime than a white person ! ( that will be about 20 pages of me being called a racist now even though its fact, and I am also aware this is down to social/economic reasons as well as young black teenagers being involved in gang culture, just pointing out it is not racist to use a photo of a mixed race man in a crime scene)
Yeah yeah yeah, dig yourself a hole why don't you. I assume you conveniently don't have proof of this...

In fairness if you were a white living in South Africa, id imagine you are either with them, or against them!

Plus im sure the vast majority of blacks in South African hate the whites just as much!!

Would the South African racism be a like how Irish people view the travellers ? If you live in an area where people separate themselves based on race or ethnicity then the actions of the people in those groups will be linked to the group itself. And I'm sure depending on experience the view of that group will be different for different people.

when i was there that was the case. had a very indepth converstaion (or lecture really on it)

if you scratch the surface the blacks hate each other depending on their tribe. I was told there were 11 tribes of which the zulu were the dominant.
So on a job (say a building site) the foreman had to be a zulu or the others won't take orders from him

The whites are split into 3 camps.
The english and Dutch decendants who hate each other from the boer war and the blow-ins the whites arrived after all that ****e and are non-aligned.

then everybody hates the indians and chinese.

    super place though.

Racist Ireland does exist, its just a bit more subtle but just as insidious.

Here is the image from an official Irish document that is endorsed by the HSA, RSA and Garda.

Below is the image from page 35 of the document where they are covering vehicle safety and security.

Somehow these lads don't look like your typical locals?

You know the nationality of these two people? you assuming they are not Irish?

Believing that behaviour is representative of an entire race is what would make you racist.

I didn't mention any race. What assumption did you make?

Well you listed a bunch of crap traits that your neighbours have, and then you asked whether having a problem with these things makes you racist - so it's a fair assumption that the neighbours you're talking about are not white/Irish. Of course it's not racist to take issue with crap behaviour by neighbours who happen to be foreign/non white. It's the behaviour that concerns you, not their race.
If someone decided however on the basis of individual cases like this that all people of that ethnicity behave that way, or that their ethnicity makes them behave that way... then that would be thinking along racist lines.

    Exactly! - you got it!
Being called a racist for not liking an individual is equally as evil as someone who is racist.

But is anyone here saying it's racist to dislike an individual for certain traits and who happens to have a different skin colour?
