    But its been 126 years since then so maybe were overdue for a scorcher
    but i think anymore than a day or 2 of it would become to much for a lot of people

    I think Mike meant Tuesday/Wednesday week, not next Tuesday/Wednesday.

    At the moment there is a loose consensus for slack low pressure influence with an airmass originating from mid-Atlantic and cool upper temps, which for the bank hol weekend would give us mostly average temps 16-20C with a fair bit of cloud, maybe some mist and drizzle with some sunnier breaks.     Looks pretty decent up until then aswell with the exception of tuesday/wednesday/Thursday this week which may see a small low cross over us, after that, high pressure does seem to attempt to build until that Wednesday! :)

    Looking good for 3 or 4 good summery days but ECM has somewhat of a breakdown going into the weekend of next week. Still all to play for.
