Similar to the audio bed of Ken's seat travails on the train, I never understood why they ended it like that because Rafa Honigstein DID see him

Romantica was better. But they changed the recipe a few years ago, now viennetta wins.

Can you still get the biscuit Vienetta? That used to be the only one could hold a candle to the Romantica.

They explained recently that the line broke up a bit when Ken was mentioning Rafa at the end of the story. So Mark decided to leave that part off the audio bed.

Speaking of Rafa; I assume he has an exclusivity clause written into his contract with the Athletic? I can't recall hearing him on any podcast since he moved to the Athletic.

They have had Felix Tamsut on doing Bundesliga so no Rafa recently alright.

There’s no sport. I’d say that has a bigger bearing than anything. They’re scraping the barrel a lot of days on their own show anyway.

Like most businesses, they're adapting. There's not enough sport to generate the same level of output. On Mondays, they could cover a weekend's worth of football matches and all peripheral stories arising from those matches from the PL and several other major European leagues.

The DODpod has no impact on the main SC pods. Honestly, what relevant content could they be putting out in place of the DOD 20/30 minute pod? What would you like in place of that?

It was 2 Monday, 2 Thursday when they were at the Irish Times. On Patreon it's been 2 Monday and 1 Tue-Fri. They have dropped it to 1 on a Monday. It's dropped by 1 a week and they still output more content then during the IT days.

It has less to do with DoD and more to do with this worldwide pandemic meaning there is little to no relevant live sport on.

He was on FW on this week. He was on SC not so long ago too.

I can't remember him being on SC for German football coverage in a long time. They've covered it a bit during the lockdown and he hasn't been a contributor.
