Delighted with that, for such a young team to go down there and win is great.

Newcastle will be tough in the final though.

Good point that, I don't know. They'll be at home though so they'll hardly play the seconds.

Won't be any walkover like the final last year, Newcastle have been obliterating teams all season. Bristol did beat them for the first time last week, and we in turn beat Bristol in the quarter-final, so there is hope, but it would be a huge ask

Newcastle are a massive team this season, if it was at home we'd stand a chance, but it's not so...

When is the final? Hopefully we'll be able to field a stronger side.

its likely to be the full team. Playing Bedford tomorrow in the other semi

Newcastle Falcons: 15 Tom Catterick, 14 Noah Cato, 13 Adam Powell, 12 James Fitzpatrick, 11 Alex Tait, 10 Jimmy Gopperth, 9 Warren Fury, 1 Jonny Golding, 2 Michael Mayhew, 3 Scott Wilson, 4 Scott MacLeod, 5 Carlo del Fava, 6 Mark Wilson, 7 Will Welch (c), 8 Ally Hogg
Replacements: 16 Rob Vickers, 17 James Hall, 18 Sean Tomes, 19 Ollie Stedman, 20 Jordi Pasqualin, 21 Waisea Luveniyali, 22 Michael Tait

Looks like a full team. Its not like they really need to keep players fresh. I'm not sure of the date of the final (assuming HEC/Amlin Final weekend) but they have a week off next week to rest players.

What weekend will this be on I wonder?

If we could get a team of something like the below we might have a chance.

McGrath/JOC, Dundon, Bent, Denton, Flanagan, Marshall, Ryan, Murphy, McGrath, Marsh, Carr, Reid, Byrne, SCM, Conway

The experience of the likes of Murphy, Ryan, Dundon etc would be key.

So it is. If we can get everyone fit, we should be able to get a stronger team out there.
