A baby is born in New York and it makes front page headlines here. Slow news day or something.

The Wolf Tones could make an auld song out of that, or maybe Shane McGowan could do one better. I reckon Shane could do it. Go for it man.

Oh great, after the break Vinnie stumbling and struggling to read more tweets instead of some vaguely intelligent conversation with the panellists who deigned to turn up in the studio tonight

I'm beginning to remember why I haven't watched this in months and months.

No that's just Joe 24/7, moan and give out but offer no answer.

Vinney was in great aul form though.

I have no idea who that guy in the middle is, but Vinnie's not letting him get a word in edgways!

What's the point in inviting a pannelist on, and then just talking/shouting over him the whole time

KPMG, PWC, Ernst and Young. No difference between any of them.

    I'd better say no more.

I think Stephen Donnelly is being a bit simplistic comparing nasty foreign 'vulture' capitalists to our own dacent Irish banks. He still thinks we are the Island of Saints and Scholars.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49,731 ✭✭✭✭coolhull

    Get stuck in there, Mary-lou!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,270 ✭✭✭Good loser

Donnelly speaks more rubbish per square minute than Clare Daly or Joe Higgins.

People have spent €x000 on their houses (so far). Stephen wants to preserve their investment and, if possible, increase it for free - the money coming from the taxpayer. Noonan won't fall for that.

The fact that she wasn't paid out of the public bit of Rehab's funds is irrelevant surely..... if they hadn't got the €82,000 that propped up the rest of Rehab's operations, could they have afforded her wages? So the public money is indirectly supporting her huge wages, surely?
