Hi just wondering what the story is with POF??!! Joined it 2 months ago and I have been asked out on 4 dates. Every single one either cancelled at the last minute with some lame made-up excuse (sick etc) or just didnt show up. I dont understand why someone would do this after 2-3weeks of messages back and forth.
The only thing I can think of is they were too nervous? But then why join the site in the first place aaarrgghhhh

Rachel: Oh, oh no. Do you think she walked in, saw you, and left?
Ross: Why does everyone keep saying that?!

Maybe they walked in, seen you and left.

    Edit: as above

We added each other on facebook so they knew what I looked like.

Maybe their partners wouldn't let them out to play.

Don't sweat it, give it time.

Maybe they just weren't as ready as they thought they were for dating in the real world?

POF is a waste of time, shower of timewasters on it.

I joined a paid site and had a date last week, and hopefully will meet again this week.

Plenty of Failure if the OP is anything to go by!

Ah no, plentyoffish.com, it's a popular dating site for unpopular people.

    Piece of fluff?

I know a guy who gave it up because all the travelling to the rides was too much trouble.

Too much of a good thing is a bad thing.

Although I always had my doubts as to the quality of the women he must have been tapping.

As they say, the odds are good but the goods are odd.

Nope, I've met some of the chic's ~ and bloody hot they were too.

Two lads broke up with their wives over their carry on, lost the run of themselves (idiots).

Its certainly working for some people.

You know you're popular on boards when your inbox and outbox are simultaneously full.

Maybe you shouldn't of told them you were bringing them the mountains in your van?!

I always thought it was a site for selling fish. I never used it because the smell of fish makes me sick.
