    Most companies wont be paying the same rates as you or I would.
    They would have negotiated a low price due to the high volume of parcels they send.
    Some companies pay the same rate even if its 0.5kg or 20kg.

    Got mine this morning. Smaller than expected - was hoping to be able to make a full lasagna in it.
    Ah well, for the price it's still great, but I don't see how it's worth the full price it usually carries.
    I had a similar pottery dish I got free with some jars of Dolmio in the 90s and it was equally good until it cracked 20 years later

    Does anyone have a spare one of these that they would be willing to sell?

    A heavy Le Creuset pot (irony eh?) fell on my dish tonight and broke it into 6 pieces :(
