Just wait now for the inevitable mails cancelling our orders due to inadequate stock to match the 1000s ordered from here and the equally inevitable posts threatening legal action

I think this one is a 32cm dish, the one on le creuset is 23 cm. Still a great deal though, thanks OP

I ordered stuff from them at Christmas and it arrived to reception at work so no idea what company delivered it. It did arrive in 2 -3 days though, as far as I remember it was very prompt.

Is this actually a good price? Never seen ceramic le creuset before

    It definitely is!

There is something similar on the Debenhams website for €40

    http://www.debenhams.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10052_10001_331003911182DISQ_-1

Edit: €40 dish is 23cm (Stoneware) the €6.25 dish is (Ceramic).
It is a good price for le creuset stuff, which is expensive. I think the real question is whether this is good value for a ceramic rectangular dish. Le creuset are well know for enamelled cast iron cookware, it lasts an age and performs well. But a ceramic dish is a simple item, I use a glass pyrex type one and can't see it ever "failing" in its lifetime, bar dropping it, while I view all my frying pans as disposable/having a lifespan.

So this sort of reminds me of the thread with the ferrari watches where people questioned if they are worth it, and if they were in fact any good, or better than a similar quality watch which might be cheaper. Though a cheapo dish in tesco is probably the same price as this so its still good, ceramics can be prone to getting small cracks, that's why I prefer glass.

Ordered 2 as well. I have no idea why, but I ordered 2 as well. Does this mean I'm in the cool gang now?

This thread badly needs a popup warning disclaimer about impulse buying.

You can get two similarly sized pyrex dishes for €7 in heatons
