Was Navan, slane heavy snow? Dreading roads :(

N3/M3 is fine. Kells to Slane and on to Drogheda was all gritted. Over an inch at the road sides but not sticking to the road, you'll should be fine unless showers intensify!

It must have been waiting for me to leave Meath. Not a flake either falling or lying anywhere on that road or around it past the County Club an hour and a half ago !

Nothing but flurries here. Keep getting excited seeing a big bank of cloud approaching...only for it to break up overheard and stay intact to the North and South.

Good luck people. Winds gone back more Easterly now, so that's me gone for the night for sure. May your snow be fluffy and accumulating.

Weird! Temp was -1.5 in Cavan town, up to 2.0 in Kells and snow looks like it's been sitting all day, not going anywhere in a hurry. Everything bar roads are covered! :)

Really really heavy snow in Carlow. Covered everything in about 10 minutes. Visibility is down to about 10 meters at best.

Lovely blanket of snow in Lucan. Can't wait till the morning. Bought a mountain bike and spiked tyres for the commute, will go where most well dare to tread footsteps.
