Is anyone finding it difficult ti actually figure out when you can walk into a shop and buy one of these? Vodafone and 3 seem to not even know the phone exists. Carphone warehouse saying saturday. Meteor on twitter said tomorrow but can't see anything else about it. Then a lot of the UK stores are saying middle of next week beause of distribution issues

O2 just posted that they will be on sale at 10am on Saturday in stores.

Indeed, Sautrday became the official day over a week ago. Any company saying tomorrow are either jumping the gun or simply trying to entice new customers to join them if they are getting it first.

Still shocked Three have yet to post any price details. I knew they would cut it close to the launch as they normally do, but that's just messed up.

At least they aren't taking peoples money yet.

Am I the only person absolutely sick about the lack of information about the s4?! Networks don't know a damn thing about if we are getting the octo core or the snapdragon. They don't know the price either. Samsung is clueless too

bloody annoys me that meteor are charging that much for the 16gb version. I know it has micro sd and all but 16gb is laughable.

I really dont get why 16gb is even an option now a days. 32gb should be the bare minimum. I mean my sat nav app takes up 4gb alone.

Carphonewarehouse posted the network prices on their Facebook page and then I posted them here on this thread.

I'd actually say that 16 gb would be enough for the majority of people these days, especially with cloud storage. Expandable memory is handy though.

Personally I wouldn't pay for a 32gb. If I need the extra space I'll slot in a card but 16gb and dropbox/skydrive more than cover what I need. I'd be pissed off if I was made pay extra for space I don't need and probably won't use. It's horses for courses.

Just checked my tracking details, my s4 will be here at lunchtime, still not overly excited as there is literally nothing my s3 cannot do, I am more excited about the sim card, unlimited data on three instead of a 1gb limit on o2.

Removable storage is slow really slow. If considering you only have 9gb usable it means it can be only used the music and photo's.

Theres a reason Google are moving away for sd cards they bog down performance, Id take 32gb of real nand over 16 + slow nand.

Doesnt say the length of the contract, which I expect it to be 2 year! Which doesnt bother me, as I already have JB on my s2 but the HW upgrade would be nice!

Am looking to purchase this SIM FREE this weekend.

Is there anywhere with pricing for either the 16gb or 32 gb yet?

(am not interested in phone + plan pricing, thanks)

Lovely just checked and it looks like I'm not eligible for an upgrade to this. Contract is up end of June, would have thought an upgrade would be possible.

Had a go with the s4 all morning at work (perk of the job), and its truly amazing to use.

It is the same size as the s3 but somehow feels lighter than it, aswell as having a larger screen.

Touchwiz seems a hell of a lot smoother, faster and more pleasant than the s3.

The new camera functions are great, extremely quick to access and use.

One thing I didnt like was the amount of unnecessary Samsung bloatware apps, but thankfully they are easy to hide.

Extremely tempted to upgrade someday when money allows.

Thanks for that. Just found it on their UK site:
    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1019162.htm#pdpFullProductInformation

..and that's just for the 16GB version. I expect that price is purely for the 'gotta have it now' brigade, of which I have just removed myself.

Here's an example of Three Ireland customer loyalty. I just rang my local store to ask if I can come in tomorrow morning to collect my upgrade S4 and was told NO! They are only offering new customers the S4 in store and any upgrades have to be ordered online and wait 10 working days! Slow clap for three. Another reason I'll be joining Meteor.

Maybe if you called them up to cancel and explain why you're cancelling then they might let you collect instore?

Very doubtful, I was having ridiculous problems with my S2 rebooting and dropping calls and the 3g speed in my area and handed it into fonenenders twice and was told if the problems persisted they would let me out of my contract. Guess what. .... same problems and they say I have to give it back to fonenenders again. Joke of a network.
