Found them, robbed a pick up and moved the UAZ out of hiding a bit :P, was only 2 pick ups and the UAZ left when i got there though

I just got my pc built and I'm down loading operation arrow head, arma 2 is down all ready then I have to install dayz if I'm doing it through steam is straight forward? Has any one got or knows of any good servers to play?

Your best bet is to get DayZ Commander & install it that way. I cant recommend any vanilla DayZ servers but you can get DayZ Epoch and play on our server. Gaellords.com. The other ones I would recommend are the BMRF servers, they are great.

i would advise you to download a program called dayz commander. its a very simple program to use and lets u be aware if updates are needed (mods,maps and arma2 beta patch).

our server is running dayz epoch ip: gaellords.com:2310

or search in dayz commander for gaellords

I've downloaded dayz commander. I've installed arma 2 combined operations.

I went to install/update

scrolled down to Dayz epoch hit installed and red triangle came up beside it bit confused tho..

Thanks for letting me play on the server

make sure you installed the latest beta. our server needs 103419 or higher. this seems to catch some ppl.

Think you need to tick a box in commander settings to use the beta if your running through steam as well

In the the install/update panal it says in yellow righting:

Arma2: not found (out of date)

Im using steam and think i have both those ticked but im using arma II free so is a slightly different setup so dont know if it will deffinitely work

DayZ Commander takes all the hassle out of it and makes it easier to find other maps and keep them up to date.

Addon `dayz_anim` requires addon `CA_Dubbing_COunterattack`

when i click ok on this messageit tries to join the server i get another message

No Entry `bin/config.bim/`cfgVehicles/Citizen1.scope`.

Im using steam.

had a funny death yet frustrating death earlier, was running into the start market, one zombie infront of me, he swings hit me, knocks me out and i die,
whoever i met on the FS roof in cherno, sorry i got kicked before i could give the blood, i dont know what happend but i keep getting kicked lately..maybe something to do with crappy windows 8, as its only happening since i put that on...

I think we tried to get one a few months ago but it didn't work out. Id like one but I don't think the admins will give it.

Epoch is working wheni just launch arma 2 OA and filter dayz epoch servers, just wont work with dayz commander.
