I don't like the direction Origin is going either. Houses are undestroyable and unlootable which makes them overpowered.
There was one guy sniping on a hill over metrovice. He had a house behind him, any time anyone came near him he'd just run back into his house and he'd be safe.

Has Dayz_Epoch been mentioned?

Buy shops, removable parts from vehicles, Gyrocopter's (fly at your own risk cause they are death defying) and REF Realism, (tuck and roll) to name but a few.

Theres only about 10 servers I have seen and would have though it would be more popular.

Yeh i agree with epoch, having been watching videos of it i really wanted to try it out for myself, just seen it on DZC there and downloaded it Would be great to see a boards server for that, hopefully get a bit more use.

im all for setting up servers. but without regular use will shut them down. so guys decide what ye want and be unanimous. as there was a good few posts for a regular server which i set up, but just a few ppl in a day join. for servers to get full it needs about 10 before the mass public will start to join. and just to note most of the top ranked servers are just plain dayz.

noob question here, I need to be whitelisted to join the epoch servers, how do I go about doing that?

I haven't joined any of the servers yet but there seems to be plenty of non whitelisted servers that you can join.

To join a whitelist server, just find the website that runs the server & register on their forums. There is usually a section to add yourself to a whitelist

Been playing on papzzz epoch cherno server, just found an ambulance beside otmel (not the crap one) and found wheels etc for it, hopped in about to drive off and bammm no fuel :P Devestated I was haha, now ive to go and try find a jerry can 2 boats right beside me aswell that only need fuel!

i threw up a server for dayz epoch on gaellords.com:2308 for the moment. tis different spend ages at the traders bandit heaven if you ask me
