    Uh-oh...

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21064709

What will this mean? A slap on the wrist or a ceremonial dropping for a game?

A fine I'd say. They won't drop him for a game. Too important to the team.

Looks like Luiz to Zab for me,boring transfer to reduce Chelsea overload and also building my bank which sits at 2.8.

Hoping to transfer my way to getting Bale in 2 weeks meaning adios Suarez and hello Sturridge!

Seen the highlights last night there was a fair bit of booing for torres aswell its not looking good for him there. If Ba starts against Arsenal I believe torres will either be sold or loaned out with another striker coming in. Did anyone see the Arsenal game ,was walcott back on the wing and did he play well? Like a lot who have him hes the obvious capt choice this wk surely. Also Giroud how did he look and will he play both games could take a punt on Ba to him for this week and then Aguero the following week.

Watched a bit of the Arsenal game, Walcott had 2 great chances which he missed (obviously). For the first one he used his pace to get into a 1 on 1 with the keeper and just clipped it narrowly wide. The 2nd one was from point blank and he smashed a shot straight into a defender when he should have scored.

Iain Dowie said he was the best player on the pitch apart from Wilshire, not sure if his opinion is worth much but he seemed to have a decent game anyway.

Is there only one wild card per season? I think I may have been a bit hasty today and used it

there's 2. One during the Jaan transfer window, and one you can use at any time.

This thread is a minefield now with the FSA Cup. Subbing out Van Persie for Jason Roberts this week.

Current team, so many players I'd like to get in:

Would like to get in Fellaini and Gibbs at the least. Can't see where I'm going to do it though. Unless I rid of Shawcross (bought from start), downgrade Suarez (but to whom as he is playing Norwich this weekend), and upgrade Marveaux?

    Decisions decisions

He's in my team, therefore he'll be dropped.

No way he'll be dropped. Even if kidnapped children BR cannot afford to drop him!

Suarez to Sturridge? Shawcross isn't as valuable as he used to be so moving him to Gibbs would be worth it.

Remy is 6.0 so could be a bargain or an unmitigated disaster.

I'm impressed with his set piece crosses and corner-taking ability. If he could only show a little more technique in his shooting...

Feck it,Defoe out-Podolski in. Walcott for captain.

Had a bad week last week and dropped to 66 in boardsie league, and by 30 points on 2nd place in the work league. Kind of want to make up that ground as soon as I can!

Thinking Walcott for Captain, with RVP as vice.

Wildcard question.. I used one in November - so is it just 1 I have left to use?! Is that the January one?

    That is correct.

Not planning on making any unless the snow affects some of the fixtures and my players, hopefully not!

I have Ashley Cole and Michu on my bench and Ian Harte and Fellaini in the field. Ian Harte is a beast with free kicks and Newcastle love to foul, plus I think Arsenal are sure to score 1 against Chelsea.

    Is this a bad idea?

I wouldn't really be too worried about Pod being rested. I'd be more worried about his time on the pitch when he does start.

He's been taken off in the last two PL matches before the 60 minute mark. I had him marked down as a potential Torres replacement but decided against it.

hmmm, i think i might opt against him so, was looking at maybe getting gibbs in for this gw, he's due to rise in price tonight (as is podolski) but with so much up in the air about fixture postponements i'll let them rise, i'd rather pay the extra .1 than make a transfer now and then risk having to take 4 point hits to field a team.

    Anyone considering transferring Giroud in?

I think the London games will go ahead. A big city like London should cope with any snow. Podolski and Gibbs in for me anyways. Basically one week punts. Plus Pod is on penos. Was considering Giroud but not sure if he will start. Might do with Walcott pushed out to the wing.

i dont think giroud played well against swansea, he just seems to lack that final touch. then again that's been true of walcott the last few games so id like to be proven wrong.

edit: also he's not guaranteed 180 minutes. briefly he came on with walcott where they played two up front if i remember the game against man city correctly, but that was a substitution move.

I'm still not convinced by Walcott. Taking a chance on Wilshire this week.

Watched highlight of FA cup just now and Walcott looked really good. He had some chances, and was really close to score. Arsenal was quite unlucky in this game - few times the ball bounced off the last Swansea defender, who was very close to goal line. Wilshere looked very good too. To Wilshere, or not to? Already made one risky transfer this week, Wilshere could offer not too much to take 4point hit... One day left to make that call, hope the weather won't stop any of the teams from playing.

    Excellent pick.

This is my logic with Walcott:

I may not be convinced, but Wenger is and Arsenal have no choice but to be. If Walcott doesn't score something like 20+ goals by end of season, Arsenal are downright farked. I think Arsenal will hit 4th and at least 5th, ergo Walcott will be a scoring machine.

    Terrible logic, ain't it?

Wilshire never gets FF points. Why would you pick him?

Wilshire never gets FF points. Why would you pick him?

He played just behind the striker midweek & has got a lot of praise for his performance there .

If he stays in that position he's worth keep an eye on .

Exactly, the lad is quality player, but a FF selection he aint... even with a double gameweek, he will get around 4 points, 2 x appearance, 1 clean sheet and a yellow card... Gibbs, Cazorla and Walcott would be the wiser choices IMO

i watched the whole arsenal match as **** as it was anyways...

i have santi in my ff team and wilshere was playing in the position were i thought santo would of being playing sitting behind giroud and walcott...

if hes going to play there from now on he could be a ff player imo

Only debate for me is whether to take Ba out for Podolski. Whats the general consensus?
