Sun nights wind potential has been increased by both UKMO and gfs.
One to watch, any more upgrades could leave the south under stormy weather Sunday night.

The UKMO also ups the ante for snow showers in the South and West tomorrow night

    What about the north west?
Met office has a snow warning out for scotland as per usual

Errected a small streamer. Unfortunately its only 2mtrs agl but is not obstructed and will serve a a rough wind direction indicator.

Handheld anemometer records sustained windspeed of 17km/h or greater with a gust of 32km/h. SW direction.

I was thinking it sounded at lot worse outside than was recording in town. Torch by my side just in case ;)

It's picked up here in achill. We lost a shed door earlier. Some strong gusts. Still have the ESB but it's flickering. Think this will be the worst of it in the next hour or two.

The gusts seem to have eased off here now, North Tipperary. I'm guessing the reprieve might be short lived.

Have to drive tonight between 9 and 10pm in Donegal. Going from central to north central
Part of the road is littered in overhanging trees
With how bad it is now I'm actually a bit worried about it

No power here in Murrisk, Westport for the last 45 minutes or so. Seems to be on in Westport town itself. Strong gusts every now and again.

My girlfriend couldn't get out of the car with the wind holding the door shut in Tallaght, it's only picked up in the last half an hour.
    Fairly strong alright.

It's really not that bad here in Ennis - if I hadn't seen this here wouldn't have thought twice about it...was a lot worse the other night.
