An early upset by Newcastle would be sweet followed by a lot of this

Any further news on Sterling's rest, I don't see the need for it to be honest

Ihope he plays. But he does play in every game, every week. He would have to take time off at some point.

Funny to think that two Irish international players - John O'Shea and Ciaran Clark - are the ones tasked with trying to ruin hundreds of thousands of people's weekend by frustrating the two most popular captaincy picks.

City are a lot stronger on paper but we'll see what happens.

Mancini sees sense, Tevez starts! Giddy up!!! Hopefully he can run amok against a dodgey Newcastle today and prove his worth when he actually gets to start!

Tevez goal and a City clean sheet please. I brought in Nastasic. Cheap way into a top class defence.

Hopefully Kompanys absence will mean massive holes in the city defence

Is it really top class without Kompany in it ?

Mancini--Balotelli left out as he needs to train more which tells me Tevez will be in for a good while,Hello Tevez for GW18............

i'm sure Kompany will be back soon. Newcastle are very lacklustre going forward without Cabaye and Barfa. i don't have any City defensive coverage myself but will be looking to do so, probably not til the wildcard coz i have other more important transfers to take care of first

City could be easily 3 up already. Fearful here as a non-owner of any City players

Fearful as a Newcastle supporter. Looking decidedly one-sided

He might need another goal or 2. RVP and Suarez are playing against Sunderland and Villa at 3 so they could run riot.

Samir Nasri playing very well by all accounts. On-form could be a sneaky differential at 8.0

Looks like he's done his groin.

Nasri down. Looks like he's got a sore sack

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,437 ✭✭✭OneColdHand

I had him earlier in the year. Thought he might be good for a couple of weeks as differential, but he did sweet flip all for me.

    Gone off injured now anyway!

    Edit: Aguero booked.

    Aguero booked.

Yeah, didn't realise that at first. Presumed he was walking towards Tevez with the card. 'Twas a nice little surprise.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,734 ✭✭✭Fowler87

Nice one Silva. Goal now lad!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 756 ✭✭✭Who_8_Paul?

Bloody hell, I transferred Aguero out this week for Rooney, thought he wasn't justifying his price tag, although I expect he'll hit a purple patch at some stage, hope its not now and I hope Rooney does the business today, I'm another RVP + Rooney for the Christmas man!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,072 ✭✭✭Max Power

Have RVP, Suarez and Berba myself. Hoping for at least 6 goals from them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,267 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

Relieved to say the least Tevez didn't get anything out of that. Could easily mop up in the second half. Though i feel Dzeko deserves a run-out from around the 60 min mark

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 833 ✭✭✭omniscient_toad

You never know with Mancini, he's as likely to take half the attack off after 60 minutes for not scoring as he is to do the same for scoring plenty and being comfortably ahead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,437 ✭✭✭OneColdHand

    Come on Demba!!

    Edit: Hehe! Oh, thanks!!
