    MOD NOTE

Going to sticky this to see if it's of any help. With the increasing number of missing/stolen dogs it might be helpful to have a centralised thread where people can come to ask for help or look for their dog.

There are a couple of rules outlined in the post below. Please read them before posting.

    ================================================================================================================

It has come to my notice, that there are a lot of dogs either going astray or being lifted. Who better than to ask, than the people here?

If you have a recent picture of your lost/found dog, please attach it here, so that the members here can know if they've got it, seen it somewhere or be able to keep an eye out for it for you.

There won't be any discussion on this thread, bar the information regarding the dog to be put up with the pic. If you have information, please contact the dog owner/finder by PM. Any discussion can be done on a separate thread. Any/all discussion/chit chat posts will be removed.

Upon finding the dog/owner of the dog, the poster can inform the mods and they will remove the item from the list in order to keep the sticky tidy and up to date.

Local vets and dog shelters/pounds should also be contacted.

Thought I'd check here if anyone lost a setter type dog around Blarney/Tower area possibly out shooting.
Found it yesterday looking hungry but very friendly. Had been hanging around in-laws for 3 or 4 days. Has already been setting pigeons and neighbours cat so thought he might have some shooting experience.
Seems young enough gonna get checked for micro chip this evening.
Settling in quiet happy here so if no one claims he will have a home but would hate if someone was searching for him.
    Honesty is a bitch sometimes

Got up this morning to feed the dogs and realised some f**king scumbag robbed one of my pups. My English pointer had 5 pups. one of the pups was missing from its enclosure. definitely didn't escape as it would have had to get through 2 fences and then out of the garden. Worst thing was it was the one i was keeping for my self. only 4 and a half weeks old so not sure if it will survive without the mother. I am living in the shannon area so just a warning to watch your dogs. also if anybody gets offered a lemon and white E P pup that looks very young without been able to view the parents could you please let me know

    thanks

I found a stray in bandon yesterday, some type of hound, maybe beagle cross? Female, very quiet. I have a pic of her up in the lost and found thread in the animals and pet issues forum. Someone suggested today she may have been lost during a Christmas hunt. If you recognise her please pm.

Hi all, my friend's lurcher was one of two stolen from a Kildare kennels last night. They left her mate behind, so was obviously breed targeted. Her owner is abroad at the moment with no internet access so we're trying to broadcast this as much as possible. Would appreciate it if you would keep an eye and ear out and spread it around. Brazen thieves as there is CCTV in the place.
If we can make them 'hot' via social media, then maybe, just maybe, we'll be lucky enough that they'll get abandoned to be found.

    Thank you

    Dog found in Prtarlington, Laois.

If anyone owns or recognises it they might pass it onto the owner.
