    Lol!! I've always hated that too. Lids pop open to let the squishy stuff inside out. I like the squishy stuff in my head to stay inside.

    I hate 'in terms of', sounds a bit too stifled for everyday speech. Also hate when people talk like they are reading out a college essay.

    During the British queen's Jubilee, Stephen Fry referred to Fergie's daughter Beatrice's hat as a lid. It still bothers me to this day.
