Other than our own Amhrán na bhFiann of course!

I'm going to go with God Defend New Zealand as sung by Hayley Westenra. An Irish man wrote the English words and it's rather rousing.

But if it has to be one from the planet Earth, then this one, which is actually the national anthem of two different countries, Finland and Estonia:

    Tough one.

    or my first one

Can you imagine if we did it like they do in america? We'd have leprechauns being fired out of cannons with rainbow ribbons streaming from their arses!

Lots of good ones to choose from. I like our own, even if in Boards eyes it makes me some kind of Sinn Fein Republican nutcase.

Flower of Scotland, Land of my Fathers and La Marsaillese are all very rousing too.

"...and send them homeward to think again"
So they went home, had a little think about it and came back and took over the place.
Scotland - is not a real country - it's only a glorified county council at present.

Flower of Scotland is like Cork people singing "The Banks of my own lovely Lee"

Not a national anthem. And not one of Phil Coulter's better compositions.

And if it was it would be the worst. Another song I hate with passion and people who sing it are worse

Glad to see the French anthem getting the respect it deserves. Definitely the greatest song of all time.

"Ode to Joy" anthem of the EU and the Council of Europe, not a national anthem per se but perhaps a supranational anthem :-)

Although purely instrumental (Beethoven's 9th), it sounds even better when the words of Schiller's Ode to Joy are added.
