They singled him out on the rugby club on Thursday night. Looks very special.

Youngs pinged for a dodgy clear out on Botha. I thought it was harsh, he was on his feet when he made contact and then went down, a lot of refs are happy with that.

Toulouse were rewarded for some good play though.

Toulouse showing how to shut down the very limited Manu Tulaigi here

Ben Youngs just gave away a sure 3 points with a stupid tap penalty. Such a liability.

What the hell was Ben Youngs at there? Hope to god that the infinitely better Danny Care takes over for England so his name isn't even breathed in relation to a Lions spot

That was not a knock on, came off his head. Harsh penalty.

Toulouse could run away with this now.

Don't think that one went forward either! Leicester fans won't be happy. They look clueless when in possession... Need some game management, bring on Ford and make it interesting!

Edit: then a Ben Youngs knock on! Leicester have to make a change here or it's game over

Youngs is having an absolute nightmare. Himself and Conor Murray showing the importance of having a sharp head on a 9s shoulders this weekend

I was just about to compare the two!

Simpson from Wasps is better than Youngs too, having a great season

    Fickou is only 18, incredible!

    What a prospect

    Beautiful from Smith.

Lovely dink from Fickou in the build up though.

It's hard to believe Youngs and Flood are internationals. They are so incompetent. They've both cost Leicester this game when the rest of their side have been matching their opposite numbers.

They don't even suit the teams style of play. They need George Ford to emerge quickly.

    Beautiful from Smith.

He recovered well but his positioning in the build up created the opportunity for Toulouse. Just on the pitch though in fairness to him.

For anyone that was watching the Sale match, how good was Cipriani when he came on. Sky are doing some Lions index and have ranked Cipriani as the best British outhalf so far. Was he actually that good in less than half a match?

Scored a try and set up another

That Lions index thing is inherently flawed because it includes players that haven't a hope in hell of being near the plane (Nick Easter for example)

Toulon beating Montpellier 18-3 halftime with 2 tries from Gunther and Botha

Hard to believe only 2/7 rabo teams won against non rabo opposition this weekend, Leinster and Ulster.

On the flip side, 4/6 premiership teams won against foreign opposition, Saracens, Harlequins, Sale, Northampton

    And a 3/5 French teams

    Racing, Toulose, Clermont

I think last seasons Rabo dominance is probably over, I am really struggling to work out what caused it? Do you think maybe English and French powerhouse teams were struggling at this stage of the season because of the world cup taking their good players, and that's why last season they gave less of a crap about the H/Cup than otherwise?

Well then, clearly the qualification methods and league structure of the Aviva and Top 14 are unfair and we should demand they are restructured to suit us!!!

Gael Fickou. He played on the France U18 team beaten in the semi finals by Ireland at this years U18 Schools tournament in April.

Dont think last seasons dominance is over. Its only week 1 so you cant really compare things to last season yet. World Cup was as much an issue for rabo sides

FYP. Only ireland differentiate between clubs and schools players. english differentiate players for national u18 side between players in professional academies from 16yrs of age and those who dont enter academies at that age and every other country doesnt differentiate between players like in Ireland

Toulon win 37-16 to get the bonus point. D Armitage got 2 tries and Bastareaud 1 in the 2nd half while Gorgodze got a consolation try for Montpellier.

Do you think this is the reason U18 talent is not brought thru as quick in this country?

With such a p1ss easy group I think Toulon will qualify with highest points and be seeded 1 for quarters, Quins 2nd. Toulon team to beat imo

Gee England really have some options at FB. Problem is Delon has nothing between the ears though

I think its more the ccase that we don't have professional academys taking players in at U16 level

Well it's probably safe to assume Edinburgh won't be repeating last year's performance.

Well it's probably safe to assume Edinburgh won't be repeating last year's performance.

But then again the likes of the Ospreys could make it that far, and Scarlets would have had a decent chance if they weren't in such a horrendous group. Edinburgh's result last year was a fluke
