    I'm not sure what's going on now, but what is supposed to happen is:

    OP uses Poster #2's code, forking out $1 from his pocket.
    Poster #2 gets $1 credit, uses Poster #3's code.
    Poster #3 gets $1 credit, uses Poster #4's code.
    ...
    etc

    so my code has been used above, but i still have a bill or 0.99 and no credit of $1.00 on my account

    Not sure I get this either. I can get it down to 0.99c but because I'm not actually completing the transaction until someone else uses my code then I won't be giving the points to stevieob? So it's always dependant on someone after you going through the full process?

    The chain starts with someone using another person's code for a discount, and paying the full $0.99. The code's owner then gets $1 credit and can use another person's code. When two people use one code, the code's owner to get $2 credit instead, but since he can only use the codes once, the loop will end.
