Leftover sausage casserole, pickled cabbage, poached eggs and a slice of sourdough toast - and I can’t even use having a hangover as an excuse! :)

Sounds lovely Grace. No more cold weather or no more meaty breakfasts? ;)

Up early this morning and out. Late breakfast of poached egg, grated cheese and some tomato salsa and a decent mug of coffee. Not bad at all but then I was so hungry I could have ate a cow between two bread vans ;)

I shared these tomato, red pepper and mushroom cheelas and chapatis with my husband yesterday morning:

They were SO yummy, but very, very filling.

Ok my bad. Breakfast of brewed coffee and yesterdays home made pizza with shredded crisp pancetta style bacon.

Not my usual breakfast- but god that was good! :D

Sunday used to be pancake day but I got a tefal sandwich maker with changeable plates so it will now be mixed up with waffles.

    Fantastic Sunday breakfast!
Had some fresh hake that we didn't use on Saturday so had pan-fried hake, kimchi and rice.

So, so good. Might become a regular Sunday thing.

Gave in to the four little dictators and made them a stack of pans.

I had fruit and porridge because " I'm now almost forty and can no longer eat whatever the hell I like anymore" (according to my wife)

Grilled Rashers. Poached egg. Toast and some delicious polish sausage left over from yesterday's barbecue. Yes a BBQ, in April, In Ireland. (can probably put it away now for the rest of the year as summer is over!!)

Didn't have very high hopes for them, but picked up a packet of these in Tesco the other day as they were being promoted (€2.50 a pack, not sure what the normal retail is)

They were actually delicious, they were fairly close to bourbaki sausages in size, cooking time, appearance and taste.

I'd have no problem recommending them.

My neighbour, a butcher, specialises in traditional sausages and pudding and the likes, and I'll occasionally get a tray of meat from him to cook at home, it's really really good stuff.

This morning I had a few sausages and a bit of pudding done in the oven.

    IMG-20190505-091611.jpg

    Came out really well.

Has me feeling really cocky about myself for some reason.

That was after ten mins in the oven, I turn sausages/pudding every ten mins or so for 20/30 mins depending on the meat
