I'm slightly lost with my timetable... The labs aren't included on the timetable right?

If your first year bio labs were on last year on Thursdays and Fridays depending on your course you'll be told which one to go to (theres no option)

and chemistry were Thursdays & Fridays also with 4 time slots to pick from

Bit of a pain they don't include them !!!!

I don't do physics or CS so I've no idea about those !

Sorry I never specified, I'm only going in to first year. I notice that my timetable has no lectures on Thursday and Friday so should I assume that labs/tutorials will be on those days? Thanks for the help btw!

Yep that's exactly when they'll be , if your doing chem & bio anyway

Chemistry times were afair 10-12 or 2-4 thurs or friday (you pick one)

Biology was 10-12/1 and 2-4/5 Thurs or Friday (depending on your course you'll be told which to go to)

Physics I think one of my friends had hers on a weds ? but I really don't know tbh same with CS but both those are defo only on mon-weds

Chemistry tutorials are mon-weds at pretty much every hour ( you pick one)

math tutorials runs all week I think theres loads of times (theyre an hour long) and you pick one and go to that.

Ugh why couldn't maynooth really be hogwarts and our stuff would be waiting for us upon arrival all this moving , putting crap into boxes is so stressful!!!! Did find some absolute charms from my childhood though that'd I'd long forgotten about !!!! :P

My timetable isn't too bad. I have Mondays off and only 1 lecture on Thursday and Friday but I hate the idea of running from one lecture to another trying not to be late more than 15mins :(

Anyone know about the amount of tutorials a 1st year BBL would have? I'm studying Law, Business & Economics in the Law & Business course!

    It's back working now.

For your thesis you have the choice of 3 research modules...it cannot be that hard not to schedule one of them with another compulsory module.....aaarrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhh.

I'm not quire sure there even is one. There isn't one for business or law in first semester for sure but I think my friend had 1 tutorial in second semester but the time was given to her, there was no choice.

Just found out that I have only have one lecture (English) all day on Friday afternoon that's supposedly compulsory meaning I won't get back to Donegal that day for work or training. Running the risk of losing my job here and having to put extra training hours in on an already exhausting Saturday. This is not on at all.

same sort of thing happened to me in first year. only had law at midday on a friday...annoying to say the least, ended up staying up most weekends

The only English lectures that are compulsory with regards attendance are seminar groups, of which you are given a choice of times to choose from. Work hard and train longer.

Well I don't do English but I do French and apparently all of the lectures are compulsory (They even took attendance). Although I was in for maybe 2/12 lectures I still got over 60% in those modules so as long as in the course outline there is nothing about getting marks for attendance (like as for almost all tutorials) and you will try to catch up (even right before the exams) you should be fine if you skip few.

After the really awful allergic reaction I got from Nivea wipes, I'll never use the brand again. The reaction was so bad!!

 Me too. Anything from Nivea gives me a gigantic rash.

Clearly they test their products on kittens, bunnies and baby giraffes. DAMN THEM!

Did anyone move last year from Arts to BCL(Law and Arts) or BBL (Law and Business)?
If so I have a question. Did you get new student cards or did you keep your old ones?
