Mannone injured or what? don't think he warrants being dropped otherwise.

Gibbs hasn't improved that much, he just got a silly amount of criticism last year.

Really looking forward to this game this evening. It's on ESPN (417).
Nothing short of 3 points is good enough.
The defence needs to focus from the very start. We have a team very capable of winning this and there should be no excuses. Three points is a must if we are to keep up with the big guns. Mertzacker needs to start to counteract the high balls into Carroll as I can't see them troubling us on the floor.

ARSENAL Line-Up: Mannone, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Ramsey, Arteta, Gervinho, Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud

Apart from Sagna and Sczez probably our strognest 11 at tihe moment.

Really hope Ramsey has a good game he has looked very good so far coming off the bench so will be interesting to see how he plays starting. He looks way sharper and quicker then last season

West Ham will be into their usual physical stuff to stop Arsenal playing. Hope for a change that Phil Dowd is up to the challenge and does a good job.

3 straight clean sheets were used as evidence of a revolution in our defence, what is 7 matches without one evidence of?

Good win in a tough enough derby.

Nice mix of goalscorers this year.

Decent win in the end but a few players really need to get out of the habit of disappearing for 10-15 minutes per match. Big Sam won't be happy either, to leave so much space for Walcott to run into at 1-1 is a pretty basic error.

Thought that was a really good win for us today. West ham played well and were physical but we coped well enough. Delighted to have mert back. Prob our most important player I think. Giourd played very well too. There were times when we weren't great but we picked it up when we need to!!

This is my fav arsenal team for a long while I have to say

Giroud with a goal and an assist today
But he is crap and will never make it in the prem :)

Very encouraging win. We've lost games of that intensity before. Happy for Giroud, you could see how much it meant to him. I really want him to do well, he seems a very good bloke. On a personal note, the OH has given me double the reason to be happy: she has come up with tickets for the QPR game at the Emirates on the 27th...best birthday present ever!

I am sober enough to think, when Theo has those one on one chances I am completely confident he will score.Maybe we should give him a shot.

Oh and fu*k you Allardyce.Right in your fat f*cking face.F*ck off you irons.Blow your bubbles up your arse.
