There is nothing intense about an arm workout. At all. Ever.

Besides, any chump can slap together tonnes of exercises and grunt, groan, scream and make it look like he's working hard.

...and the videos aren't working for me so I'm basing all of that ENTIRELY off your workout description :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,375 ✭✭✭Antisocialiser

I have no sound in work but I can still tell for certain that this guy is a jackass.

Every workout should be intense, you must have small arms....

Can we get a definition of small arms.....9 to 12 inches small, 12 to 17 inches average and anything above 17 big??

You'll need to include a body fat factor too.

Holy crap! No offense to the OP but could this guy be any more of a complete douche.

0:38-0:50... lol his little spiel about "dominance muthaf**ka".....HE'S A MODEL, who's he dominating, the friggin photographer?

Most people can't afford the luxury of going to the gym before a 9 to 5 cause they ain't professional gym fitness models.

He takes the cake though by walkin outa the gym with his shirt off thinkin everyone else is a loser though...what hero! :D

That a lazy persons excuse! Working out ONE muscle, ONCE a week for ONE hour will not cause burn out, lol.

    What?

I shouldn't of wasted my time posting this thread, was just trying to help out those who need some motivation and also posted an awesome arm workout and just got crap for that.

    your welcome.

Your arms don't deserve their own day unless you are a competitive bodybuilder.

    That video is toxic.

You didn't do anyone a favour by posting it, & it only motivated me to tell you how wrong you are.

Wow I'm surprised at the hate for Greg Plitt, he took the hobby we all love, became the best in the world in the area of it he chose and made a great living in the process. If that's not inspirational and dominating I don't know what is.

Then again I'm biased, I met him at a trade show and he's a lovely guy, all the pro bodybuilders would barely say hello but he talked to each person for 5-10 minutes.

Exactly, I was really blowen away by all the hate. Greg has been such an inspiration turning peoples lives around including mine.

Hes not just a fitness model and bodybuilder but also a motivational speaker who spends most of his time helping people.

Well I'm just basin my opinion on that video Liam90 put up. I watched some of Gregs older videos on Youtube and he seemed grand but in the newer ones like the Liam90 vid he comes across like a jock retard, I was like what happend the guy, so much so that I though it was a piss take, dunno whats wrong with him. He might be sound in general and maybe he just gets emotional after a workout :D but there is no place for an attitude like that in any walk of life in my opinion. Thinkin everyones a loser cause he went to the gym first and thinkin he's devastating everyone as he walks out of the gym...I'm pretty sure thats the definition for a douche like. And as for him being a motivational speaker and helping people etc...please... thats just jargon for him finding another way to milk what he does to make more money.

I honestly couldn't give less of a **** about who he is or what he does. My only issue is the concept of an arm workout being "intense".

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,785 ✭✭✭ferike1

I call your Greg Plitt and RAISE the intensity to the next level!:D

Ah no to be fair to him he does have a great physique. Especially if natural.

However his attitude makes him come across as a bit of douche.

Yeah I don't really like Greg Plitt. He seems very full of himself and he is just marketing himself to make the big dolla :P
Rob Riches on the other hand seems to be very helpful, friendly and while he is also making an awful lot of money, he doesn't charge people for access to his videos, recipes etc...

I took my kid to Duffy's circus last week and they had a Chinese acrobat doing a bunch of stuff like this - he did the horizontal hold thing at arm's length, and he climbed a rope with his arms almost fully outstretched. It was impressive.

You don't hear of circus training, but it's obviously effective, whatever they do. Not taking the piss by the way.

Jesus you would swear these guys have discovered the secrets of the universe, ok your good at exercise and you seem to be able to vomit out someone else's motivational slogans at the drop of a hat, but there is more to life.

this guy was in the circus too, think there's another vid of him training too but couldn't find it....could be the next fad "Circus Strength".."CircusFit"...

Immensely impressive physique, and I admire the success he has achieved, but he's a bit of a knob.

I'm sorry you're Smith squatting 60kg in your underpants. Your advice is invalid.

i got a pin in my soul watching kevpants' video.

breaking the blind? Toppling over the bench? What a ritard.

ps - your arms will get enough of a workout in your otherv exercises, bench, pull ups etc

If you want truly big arms, you gotta train em.

...or if you want healthy elbows.

I can only assume trashing the gym and flipping benches over is an integral part of the routine?

    Smith Squats:
    Set 1, 60kg x 20
Rest while posing & shout generic inspirational phrase
    Set 2 60kg x 15
Pull blinds off window and scream at people in the gym
    Set 3 60kg x 10
Look wistful while posing and pretending the camera isn't there

Greg Plitt's videos remind me of the old wwf Ultimate warrior promo videos... serious physique, fancy underwear, spouting all sorts of nonsensical wankology.

You guys are just haters, you are going through the motions, Greg is to the max, extreme super turbo split drop sets all day baby. Feel that pain, that success calling, that sweat is failure crying. You guys want abs.....you dont deserve abs, abs are for winners. See greg has grasped the nettle of winnerdom but the thorns. He a a modern day gym jesus.

He kicks equipment because he is hardcore and the equipment is not worthy to exercise his muscles. He pulls down blinds because they stop the world seeing what awesome looks like.
