Anyone having problems with CooltvGuide on Championcs latest image?
I haven't time to play with it at the moment but it looks like CoolTVGuide is not there.

When you open the plugin menu it gives a warning saying that it cannot find CoolTVGuide.

hi guys, i have champions ar-p image on my golden media triplex with the help of championc himself, but i can only seem to get 3 channels on the terrestrial side, rte1 rte1+1 and rte jnr
i have tried manually inputting the rte 2 frequency but it doesnt work. anyone got any ideas?

Sorry your only picking up mux 2, do you have a channel list backup from your old image?

Are you sure you have right frequency and are scanning 8mhz bandwidth?

And after scanning one mux make sure not to clear before scanning the second.

yeah i went into spark to check it and i wrote it down went back to enigma and inputted it, i made sure about the clear before scan stuff was off when i inputted it on the 2nd frequency, ill keep trying

I have the same issue - also using the GM Triplex (DVB-T2 version).

I can get all saorview channels on the Hyperion image but can't get 2 muxes on either AR-P or HDMU.

My solution is to load up the Hyperion image and do the tune (manually tune both frequencies) then use dreamboxedit to copy the settings, then load them to the image I want them on. this not ideal but is the only solution I can get working

ok thanks, the hyperion wouldnt work on my box unfortunetly, i kept gettin a green screen. sprk was the only thing i could use. and this ar-p looks great till i tried tuning terrestrial

What mast are you getting the saorview signal from?
Maybe someone here using the same transmitter can copy settings and send them to you

If it is the championc image then it is v2

Having issues with it too. At first couldn't find some part. Reinstalled cooltvguide and started getting insufficient memory errors. Deleted other unneeded stuff and it works ok. However trying to use it's epg coolsearch causes green screen.

Bizarre. I use it quite a bit so it's there alright. It's programmed to launch from the EPG button. And does it not even show up in the plugins list ?

It didn't launch on EPG button when I tried it earlier

I'm a little bit special today. Can anybody post a link to Championc's latest stable Hyperion image. Preferably not rapidshare, having absolutely no luck trying to download from there!

EDIT: Found it! You wouldn't believe how much time I wasted on that!

If you have an AA2, I'd recommend the new AR-P. It has HD Judder fixed.

I wonder if the Triplex has less memory than the AA2 given that some Triplex users appear to have got Green Screens ?

Anyone out there using my AR-P right after flashing, with no issues ?

Folks if anyone is having trouble with RTE1 (sat) just update to the latest OSCAM (9077) and that will sort it.

Stuck on boot after installing the ar-p image

Been using this is anger for the past week now and really happy with it. One item i'm trying to get working well is the XBMC VU+ addon with the Alien 2 AR-P image. It works but is extremely slow. When XBMC is connected to Alien2 (believe it's simply using webif) the alien 2 box becomes extremely unresponsive. So much so it's not really usable. Anyone experienced this and know any fixes?

OpenWebif is very slow for me to launch whereas WebInterface seems to be much quicker. However, when I used WebInterface, I couldn't get Dreamdroid to connect. So maybe try stopping OpoenWebIf and enable WebInterface

I think most of VUs come with dualcore CPUs, while aliens are all single cores, lots of plugins and even the firmware it self is not written to be very efficient most of times.

Hi Guys,
Is anyone having a problem recording?
I seem to only be able to record FTA channels, and not paid for ones.
I did some testing last night.
ITV News at 18:00 - Has recorded and shows in /media/hdd/movie. 653Mb and can be viewed no problem.
World War II in colour - Discovery channel - Shows item in same folder, but is 0Mb and cannot be viewed.
I've double checked and was able to view another paid for channel at the time so not an issue with the lines I don't think.

Anyone else having trouble?

I'm using the V3 hyperon image off here. It's fantastic otherwise - best and most stable image I've used.

I found a peculiar thing with recording in Hyp3. If you switch to a channel during a recording it shows a blank screen and the recording ends at this point. It seems to be still recording but will be blank from that time onwards when you replay it.

Never had that problem and I'm on v3,I do have that 0mb files problem though with certain recordings, don't think they are all paid channels either that it was happening on.

Am running Championc's PK Team V2 image. Getting a bit of pixelation every now and then on the $ channels, mainly the HD version. Judder fix is applied already so we can strike that out.

So am thinking maybe its time to upgrade the Oscam. Found the following link on sattvhelp forums to a whole bunch of oscams for SH4 boxes. Thing is once you download the zip file where do the various sub directories and files go? Had a trawl through the Amiko Alien 2 using filezilla but nothing obvious stood out.
