Net Zero means we are paying for the destruction of our economy and society in pursuit of an unachievable and pointless policy.

those ominous dark clouds passed over D24 now, heavy shower just a few minutes ago,

Wonder how far into south dub this will effect. In dalkey now and already had a few heavy showers. But hard to tell from current radar how it will track.

I'm wondering the same in Dun Laoghaire, I thought earlier the north city and county would get the worst and thats still the case. Theres a slight division between the main cell and whats giving reported rain in Dublin 24, I'd almost bet that division will widen and the cells bypass South Dublin.

The returns arent looking as intense as they were reported in Meath. Can anyone confirm current rates?

Well that last cell dissipated as it neared Dublin. Only a quick heavyish shower here. Skies to the northwest looking ominous again though, maybe round 2 will be more eventful.

The current storm activity is passing to the southwest of Dublin into the mountains around the Brittas area and out over Greystones area.

Gone really quiet in lucan again. Brightened up again. Is it over for us?

Got caught out in the storm in trim around half 4. It was so intense you could feel the electricity and does it sound crazy to say you could almost see the electricity in front of you. Saw one fork of lightning, heard two claps of thunder and then the Biblical rain. Tried to shelter against a wall which worked for a while as the rain was sideways with the wind. Got soaked through, glad to have made it home alive.
