Didn't say anything about a rule, it's just normal enough. Most ppl will reach this figure by mid twenties.

I hate bringing about a depressing post to this thread, but its these sort of topics and conversations which have bothered me over the years I have to admit. Obviously I feel like a total twit for being a virgin at 25 near 26. But I was painfully shy in my teens and early 20s, plus I had no confidence so have naturally fallen into this position.

I've seen some threads about women not dating virgin blokes after 30 etc and has upset me obviously. I worry that I'm almost too old to have a girlfriend for the first time now as when you're in my position it becomes weird to be like this at my age. I feel like a loser obviously.

You have absolutely no reason to feel bad. If you look at this poll you will see most people have not had sex with that many people and if you look at threads on what age people lost their virginty, many people also admit to being older. You also have to take into account the amount of people that have to bull shit on the internet, and IRL for that matter, especially for stuff sex related. I wish I could say that my number is 1 and with my current bf but that's life. Just know that things will get better and when you do meet someone you'll gain so much more confidence knowing that they like you for you.

There is absolutely no problem with having sex with x amount of people before a certain age. As long as both partners are enjoying themselves and protecting themselves against STD's and pregnancy.

Yeah I've concluded that from the poll.

I have considered using an escort because at my age its getting silly now, I do feel like a deep loser because of it. But my social skills aren't great and I'm not "cool" enough in all honesty so I have to live with this utter failure that is me. I feel like a failure to my parents and to my family.

I've avoided contact with cousins/aunts in recent years because I don't want them to ask me questions about it so I've had to avoid them and pretend I just don't exist.

Seriously though if its having such an impact on your life maybe try that out because after its done you will probably have more confidence to approach more women.
