We didn't play an actual tournament for a few reasons. Mainly because of too many variations when it came to attributes. Better to have the CAW's on level pegging and then let the CAW fight it out.

Also, I only have a PS3, so it would have been a pretty short tournament. Instead I downloaded a CAW from each PS3 player who let me know they had one, and put them in the tournament with whatever other CAWs I had.

Next, I'll be recording some other matches like the Hardys vs the Dudleys in a Tables match and so on.

I made a Steve Blackman CAW & Hacked his music into HCTP like I did with Shamrock a few pages back.
The menus have the 'Thorn In Your Eye' theme for RAW & 'Everybody on the Floor' Smackdown theme.
I gave Sable her classic theme, and her Blackman & Kenny are in a Stable called 'Lethal Unit'
I might give the game classic RAW&Smackdown ringmats/menus whatever...
Gonna do a whole attitude era roster over the next while.
Any suggestions?

Hey lads,

Complete nube question here. I haven't played a wrestling game in years. I just started playing tonight and created a player and started universe mode. However, do you not just pick one player anymore and play through his career and his cut scenes? Is there an option to do that or do you just drop in and out of matches you want without ever having one player to control? I used to enjoy bringing a character from nothing to challenging for belts

Unfortunately not in this version Hulk Hands, you have the attitude mode which is this years version of the story mode. However universe mode is quite fun, like smackdown 2's story mode on the ps1!

Read the IGN article about this.

Basically it's just a technicality. They have a new investor, all planned games, etc are still going to come out and the company will survive. THQ aren't finished. MGM filed for bankruptcy 2 years ago and had Skyfall and The Hobbit this year. Anyone who's afraid of servers, DLC, patches, etc, they're all gonna be ok.

WWE's official statement on it:

WWE Following THQ Bankruptcy Filing

STAMFORD, Conn., December 19, 2012 – WWE (NYSE:WWE) is following the developments of THQ’s bankruptcy filing today and proposed sale under Bankruptcy Code Section 363. The Company anticipates actively participating within this proceeding.

PWInsider took this as the WWE possibly purchasing THQ.

Maybe we will get the WWE Saint's Row PPV instead. :P

is there a challenge in universe mode to beat the undertaker at wrestlemania? thought i heard few of you mention it.

Taker won the royal rumble in my universe, when it got to mania he was then put in two matches. one normal against lesnar and then against big show for the world title.

he beat me in the hell in a cell when i was lesnar and seemed a lot tougher. i bashed him then with Big Show and won via KO.

i didnt get any achievement or unlockings, i assume the "streak" match is the single match he is in, and it was just coincidence he won the rumble?
