Some people have nearly mastered the pin system.

Wish I had. Since the tap method was removed I've lost the one thing in the games that I was good at. ;)

Even though it can be frustrating, the new system feels exciting. Especially when your opponent is sitting next to you.

Ah, I prefer not knowing how much chance they have of kicking out. This game I've had a decent triple threat match where myself and another kept exchanging pin reversals (I was Rhodes, he was Ziggler if I'm remembering correctly) until the third man finally recovered to break it up.

Last time I played against a buddy in the room was when I moaned about how unfair it was that I (with my PW boards adopted superstar™ Christian) should have to go against him (as Orton) in the finals of a Legend difficulty KotR with no rest break having just played the last match. Even though I won the previous match fairly quickly with a count out when he spent a long time trying to get a pin in his game. :pac:

Anyone having trouble actually getting the trophy / achievement for beating taker at mania? I know it needs to be legend difficulty, with a Caw. I've beaten him numerous times via exhibition, but no trophy. Do I need to fight him in Universe mode to get the trophy?

Yeah you have to beat him at Wrestlemania in universe mode.

Just skip weeks in UM until you get to Wrestlemania then just edit the card and put your CAW in a match with Taker.

    Save yourself time;

Finisher match (win conditions) and give yourself unlimited finishers.

PS Store update isn't until tomorrow over here, wouldn't rule out them appearing in the game store itself though.

I'm starting to think the Hogan CAW has creative control.

No really Ted, we have had a problem with that sort of thing before!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,298 ✭✭✭srm23

haha great attempt at stoping him at the end :P
the AI is hilarious at times like setting up the ladder and climbing while the opponent is standing in the ring...but i guess it works!

When I am playing online, it is that sort of thing that gets me points, so yeah, it does work. Does anyone know why we can't put titles on the line in matches, even like AWA title?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,225 ✭✭✭airmax87

    Steve Blackman still won.
    Just saying.

Can't recall. Which is strange because I'm almost positive it's his second finisher.
