    I don't like the "create a belt" options. Changing the colour of the strap and plates is pretty boring.
    Also, the creation outfits have been the same for the last like what, 5 years now?

    Admittedly they could have improved the belt creation options, but at least its there i suppose

    The creation gear is pretty much the same but now we have ........ Kickpads.

    It would be good to have more options but I think, for me anyway, they supplied more than enough material to work with so that its not a bad point of the game.

    Every so often I pick up one of the WWE games, fueled mainly by the joyous memories I have of No Mercy on the N64 (still in my opinion the best wrestling game ever) and i'm constantly disappointed.
    So, is this worth getting or is it just another WWE yearly update, barely distinguishable from the past few releases apart from a few minor tweaks?

    I really like the game this year, but a large part of me hopes that THQ lose the licence. Or at least takes a year out and totally rebuilds the game from the ground up. There are still a lot of issues with these games, and the fact that the carachter models look worse with each passing year is worrying. The models on HCTP looked better, and that game is how old now? We are coming towards the end of the current generation of consoles, and THQ have not yet made a great looking wrestling game.

    Its a definite improvement on last years game. The storylines are all attitude era based. Theres more content and more match modes in the game than in the last few years.

    The same game mechanics appear from last years game, though tweaked to be somewhat better. If you're not sure you're going to enjoy it, watch some gameplay videos. FWIW I'm enjoying it, and would recommend it.

    The game is 100 times better than last years and I haven't even gone into universe mode yet!

    Is there a way to boost online games to get the highest rank achievent/trophy?

    Havent tried it yet but i imagine the rank is win based. Can you get someone to play with you and lose so you stack up wins?

    I can't wait for Saturday to get to play this for the whole day. I've only just finished the DX story in Attitude Era mode, so I've loads to do

    Good point about the likeness or lack of. We saw a great example last year with Booker T.

    On Saturday I went up an online rank. Sunday, I was back to the starting point (But I kept my trophy). I went up two ranks! Today..... BACK TO ZERO!
    I've saved each time. Is this my PS3 doing it or THQ still need to work on their online feature?

    I see online matches in these games are still dreadful with nerds spamming the same unblockable moves repeatadly. Just had a match where some dickhead playing with taker kept doing the same running ddt move literally over and over until I eventually just gave up and he pinned me. What's the point like...

    I've heard the royal rumble match give a good amount of xp without needing to win the match.

    Where the hell are the storylines?!

    The "highlight" matches on the show. Usually one per week but the feuds stay logged even when the 4 week storyline is over,

    I used to have highlighted matches but now none really. They just seem to be the same as last year too.

    Am i going mad or could you swap out titles for shows last year? Like have the classic belt instead of the spinner etc?

    You can do that again this year, just go into schedule and go to raw and edit the show and you can change the belts

    I am not overly impressed with universe mode. I have had about 20 matches in universe mode, with only 1 cut scene. If I fill up the allies and enemies for each superstar, will that make a difference??

    Scroll right past the attitude era storylines and you should see them. Or maybe it isnt what youre looking for

    Was playing last night that additional storyline match with Chris Jericho vs. Road Dogg. I almost snapped the controller in half getting that one done :mad:

    Anyone know whats on this update? Its downloading now and its almost 700mb.

    So many bugs. Spent ages creating a wrestler. Finalized and went to save it but the save bar only went half way up with the save logo still moving. Hit 'cancel', then it got stuck on a black screen with the save logo still moving. Had to quit the game and now have to start over again. Another vote from me towards getting the licence changed.
