Just picked up my new Driving Force steering wheel and Doom 3 bfg edition arrived as well. Also got Sonic racing for the WiiU for 25,so pleased with that!

    Edit:
    @rsebiscuits!
Opened the Driving Force wheel, badly boxed, to find the power supply missing!
I can plug it into the ps2 and it'll work but without force feedback!
    Pox!
Is there a replacement out there?
Needs a 24 volt dc current.
    Bugger it anyway!

Would a multi output laptop PSU not do the job? Might even find the right connector head to fit.

Well, I have to find one of those, maybe Kerbdog has one....
Not spending any money if I can help it, and the guy "apologised", said he didn't realise that the wheel required a power source.
    Tool!
Anyways, he says he's sending one over, but you know it's a fecking 12v piece of crap he'll pick up in a pound shop somewhere.
    Ah well....

A few things I picked up from retropolis. I got Tetris on the GB, I actually never owned this game so I needed to fix that.

Got Resident Evil Gaiden as well and also picked up Super Ghouls n' Ghosts on the GBA because it has extra levels.

I'm not 100% sure if this counts as retro or not, but. I decided to get back into GBA games, since I hadn't played a GBA game properly since I sold most of my GBA games back in 2006 to get metroid prime hunters(bad mistake) and something else from gamestation. So far I have

Only spent 38 euro so far.

Are they all the real deal, those GBA carts?
    Some are dodgy as feck!
Still, 38 for all that, well done!

And Metroid Hunters... yeah, that let a lot of us down, but in our defence, we hadn't much else to play on the DS at the time!

Thats very true, DS first year or so was not great other than mario 64 :p Well it went like

The GBA SP was free off my friend, but no charger. Gamestop had none, so I went to the rage, and it cost 15 quid
Firered was 20 in that new retropolis, but I traded in some really bad GBA games I got off my friend with the GBA and got it for 13.
Mario world was a fiver off my neighbour.
    Ruby came with the gameboy.
As for leafgreen and emerald, I posted on my towns local stuff for sale or trade facebook page, asking if anyone had any pokemon games for sale, some woman contacted me, said she had leafgreen and emerald, fiver for the pair, dropped them round my house

The Mario 64 conversion on DS was also dreadful and buggy.

Well, just a got my Snes back off of my brother, after he preformed surgery on it, allowing it to run everything, all regions, full screen.... nice!
I might have to cut into the pal Snes' casing so US games fit though.....

Might be less destructive to use a pass through region adapter.

    Well then, what's the point?
    Nope, going to operate!

I just paid nearly 60quid on an eBay auction for on of these...

    http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namco_Arcade_Stick

Probably a lot of money but I've been looking for one for ages now and they are not easy to come by so I'm happy to pay it tbh.

I'll post proper pics when I get it.

Let me get a Dremel bit and we can modify nicely so not to offend the purists. Will also use the hot glue gun and ensure the mod inside of the SNES doesn't undo itself.

I also have 2x Switchless kits to use on the likes of a Megadrive/Saturn if your interested

    On a roll now :)

There has been other stuff I got recently but this is what's to hand.
    250420.JPG

    250421.JPG

The iCade i modded with a sanwa stick and seimetsu(i think) buttons.
    250422.JPG

The arcade panel has some new shiny buttons (need an led-wiz) and a tracker with the 5" mini racing wheel which works great in pole Position :D

Athlete Kings just reeks of awesomeness, it was the very first game I had when I first got the Saturn back in '95.

Played a little of it with my daughter (she is 6) and its great fun. Bought it in Cork when I was down there recently.
