Unfortunately, the more popular it gets, the more hackers. Especially since Arma2 is so exploitable.

If you see any white text saying 'killed by friendly fire' disconnect fast. They can kill everyone on the server at will.

I know I havnt played in over a month but I loaded up and my character is starving and thirsty but I cant eat or drink any of my food/water? Have they changed it?

Depending on the update you last played. You have to go into your Gear (press G) and right click your food and water to get the option to eat/drink. This is the case now with applying bandages, morphine, painkillers etc

Press G and in the gear menu right click on your stuff.

Then head north of Lopatino an get my M16 and G17!!!!!

There was mass banning by battle eye last night,took alot of hackers off the game.

More detailed info is Rocket took down the master server "for good" last night until battle eye released the update,they did so it came back up within the hour.

ive just started playing day z in the last few days, saw the boards server and had a play on it, got right confused yesterday when i saw its country had changed :P

This morning I noticed a few people trying to connect and they couldn't, Battle Eye wasn't letting them. Some of them that were not able to connect Battle Eye was making comments that the users had 'Illegal Copies' as well
