Finally some balance to the argument.

What about the mental anguish of the family of his victims for the past 32 years.

If he's resident here (and will be affected by the results), why shouldn't he be allowed to vote? He can vote in elections already

As for yourself not being able to have a postal vote, that's something else we can't do correctly in our little corner of the world. They can barely manage to cope with those who live on the islands just off the coast.
He can vote in local elections, as any European citizen abroad. And he is allowed to vote in the UK elections. I don't see why he should be allowed to vote in Irish general elections if he is not a citizen.

I remember the days when Liveline used to cover whatever was the main story in the news... Sean O'Rourke would give you the straight facts.. And then Joe would follow up with the opinions of the housewives... For example today would have been people ringing in about the Bord Na Mona woooooookers going on strike...

Can we just give out about Bord Na Mona here instead?

This is vintage ****-stirring, even by Joe's standards.

But at long last a sensible, balanced call to even things up a bit. Won't last.
