I'm fleeced by the things this year. Feel your pain.

MetzgerMeister - the point of the Pontiac Aztek is to enforce what a sucky life Walt had when he was all "by the book Mr Nice Guy". Seems to regularly feature as one of the worst cars of all time, even before Breaking Bad brought it to the attention of people outside the US.
    Class Show.

There's one episode were Walt tries to write it off, just out of pure fustration with the thing :pac:.

I'm only early in Series3. Between the pontiac and jessies subaru estate things are fairly dire right now car wise.

I'm in the middle of season 3 meself, couldn't believe that Walt actually got the damage fixed after the drug dealer incident. I was hoping that would push him to buy a new motor but no such luck :(

All I see is the "4WD" badge thingy on the front of Jessie's car!

Nicest car in it so far was Gretchen's Bently Continental :D

The last episode I watched was where Jessie has the house party, some very good tunes in that even though they are rap. One of them samples a riff in Slayer's Angel of Death and the other is very good dub-step.

I tried to Shazam them (for driving music to keep OT) and not a lot of them were read by Shazam. :(

I got the Slayer one in Shazam but not the dubstep. I got that one by typing "Dubstep in Breaking Bad" into google and it was the 2nd result :D

If you try to Shazam what you think is a song but is in fact part of the score, it won't recognise it.

By the way, is Breaking Bad over? How many series is there so far?

Grr, was sure it was some US model subaru with the AWD badge.
Turns out it's a Toyota Tercel

    Perfectly crap name for it.

Episode 5 of Season 5 went out in the states last weekend.

They're signed up for another two seasons provisionally I believe.

Tesco have you guys owned :P can you buy a laptop or a telly or a set of deck chairs or a gallon of engine oil in dunnes? no? :pac:

i'm just being a pointless fanboi though, i have no real loyalty to tesco aside from the fact that i work there, Dunnes could well be better. but i do always shop in tesco to keep myself in a job.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,234 ✭✭✭Ardennes1944

me too, i despise dunnes and the way it is run. the owners are running it into the ground at the moment. i never shop in there, i shop in supervalu merely because the shop doesnt look like a prison.

I like all sorts, so I know well.

It was more a comment on Dub Step, not your tastes my friend. As eclectic as they may be. :)

from personal experience, i think to be a Tesco HR manager it means you have to be very difficult to deal with. no compliment there :pac:

car looks so fresh and one of a dying breed, shame its probably an uneconomical repair.

Ours is always smiling and cheerful, I'm taking it as a compliment! :p

Although another time a father said to his young son while pointing at me "thats the manager, he'll throw you out if you don't stop messing...." so I guess the system works both ways :pac:

oh jesus i hate that with kids!

"that man there will throw you out if you keep messing"
"aren't these not actually for sale today *wink, wink*"

or with grown men and their wives

"just ask that young lad over there where that is", "no i'm not asking, you ask", "ah we'l just leave it"

ffs guys i can hear you like, i'm not a robot

and you know someone is lost or about to ask a question because you are getting eye contact from 10 meters away, people are so painfully tedious.

"that telly/ laptop etc is €50 cheaper in argos" and they stand their repeatedly telling you as if they can whittle you down.
i dont decided the prices, if you know its cheaper somehwere else, then why are you here discussing it with me?

just re-read, my comment above, rant over :pac:

i actually enjoy dealing with people in work, i like the challenge it presents at times :)

I have particurarly poor hearing at times (thanks to a screaming child on a plane my hearing is permanently damaged in one ear) and people with poor english are difficult to understand at times for me...

Like a couple earlier today that came up to me looking for "odd job" hair gel? Baguettes? Bad guy from Goldfinger? No they were looking for hot dogs....

Nothing funnier than the hard boyos in hoodies, hoods up, trackies, swaggerin about.... With mammy and trolley, awww bless the lil gangsta :pac::pac::pac:
