No more word on Jong Il Gwan to Newcastle it seems.

Silvio confirmed Silva will be leaving. Tbh think we could get more for him considering demand.

If Ibra goes for mooted fee he'll have nearly amounted €200million in accumulated transfers during his career. Astonishing really.

Just think of it as 20 million per league title

In fairness a bit of patience is needed.
No idea if this transfer will go through but these things do take time

It's probably PSG's "if we're not absolutely certain we'll win the league this year" gambit.

If you are Ibra, you are loving this. You've already been at Ajax, Juve, Inter, Barca and AC, and now at 30 years of age, you get to spend a few years on crazy money playing in Paris, filling your boots with goals against crap French defences??

Probably the best CB in European, if not world, football though.

Not doubting his quality at all .

His price just reflects that quality imho .It is a massive fee alright, but a player like Silva was always going to cost a buying club some serious wonga.

Actually when you adjust Rio Ferdinands transfer with inflation it's not far off this and this guy is well better than he was then . So it's not that bad really I suppose .

    Should/could have got more imo.

It's not a huge deal more than Thuram's fee when he moved to Juventus 11 years ago.

Great piece of business by PSG. T.Silva is an immense player. AC Milan will find it nearly impossible to replace him IMO.

tbh I'd argue Milan have got better out of the deal.

How? If it happens they will be losing their best player and will need to replace both him and Nesta this summer, they will find it very difficult to do that imo.

I can't see anyone wanting to be in their Champions League group next season. They'll probably be in the 4th pot based on their history.

Because they got £37m for a player who has just had his physical peak.

If that money is invested correctly into the team then Milan will have an excellent section for years to come.

How many seasons will PSG get in the CL before they're booted out, 2?

It won't be though. This is just to balance the books and prepare for FFP.

This summer alone they've lost from the squad: Silva, Aquilani, Flamini, Seedorf, Nesta, Gattusso, Muntari, Inzaghi, Maxi Lopez and Zambrotta. There's also a chance Ibra will leave.

Outside of the Ibra transfer 2 years ago they've only really signed players on loan or Free transfers (Boateng, Maxi, Montolivio, Traore) or less than a million quid (Mesbah and Nocerino).

Tough few years ahead for the Rossoneri I think.

    Arsenal signing Giroud for £12m.

He is in his peak now, turning 28 in September, and he is arguably the best CB in the world at the moment and with the crazy money being spent by certain clubs they should be holding out for at least £50m or telling them where to go. He is the type of player who can make a huge difference to a team, I can't see Milan challenging for the Scudetto next season if they sell him.

I'd love to see their plan for complying with FFP :D

If that's a genuine question then I have seen a few PSG jerseys down through the years already as they always have some of the nicest shirts around. I even have one myself from ~2005.

If you were just being condescending then... What other people wear shouldnt bother you.

Their owner invents a company, company make shirt sponsership deal for €100m per season, tadah, FFP bypassed.

    Co-ownership.

It wasn't a straight loan, it was actually part of about 8 transfers between first team and primavera players.
