Sorry , but I have to defend him here. Completely normal behaviour on a TV show, listening to cues, director in ear etc.

Seen it loads of times, especially on live news interviews where the are not looking at guest.

Agree with this but some interviewers have the professionalism to look like they're interested in what the interviewee has to say, ie Uncle Gaybo. It must be very disconcerting for somebody being interviewed to have the interviewer constantly looking away after they've asked a question.

    Independence Day is on E4.

There used to be only two certainties in life"The only two certainties in life are death and taxes" Now it's death, taxes, terrible Late Late Show lineups and Independence Day being shown on E4.

That Craig Doyle show looks great in that promo. Its like checking out YouTube for clips of a footballer you've never heard of, looks like the next maradona but then you find he's dogsh*t when he actually signs for your team...

    Dear M cebee,

I have recently been appointed by the Dept of the Environment to collect the Household charge door-to-door. Unfortunately you were out when I called. Please lodge the sum of €100 (sterling and dollars also acceptable) into my account.

    Yours,

    Bertie Ahern

But I don't actually have an account at this time so just leave a brown envelope behind the bar in Fagans.

    Yours,
    BBBBBeeertie
