Could I be added to the second list? I've been wanting one of these for ages and I just bought a new car that badly needs paint correction.

Nilfisk come highly recommended on Detailing World.
Purchased one myself two years ago and hasnt missed a beat! The model I bought is the C120 - plenty powerful for doing the car, and other small jobs around the house/garden.....the key to it being so good is the fact that they have aluminium pump not like Karcher's plastic pumps in their entry level power washers!

Any word on the backing plate?

Yep, the suppliers don't have the 6.5" in stock. The biggest they have is 5" if that's any good to you?

5" should be the correct one I would have thought.

The D/As come with a 6.5" backing plate for the 6" pads. You do have a good point though but that's the way it is.

    It will indeed!

I think that would be an aggressive compound. Be careful. You will also most likely have to finish with a lighter polish prior to waxing/sealing

Are you sure? Don't quote me, but I think the kestrel comes with a 5 inch backing plate.

The Meguiars G220 comes with a 6 inch plate, but that is for using with their own pads which are 7 inch.

My new car is black yes but I'm probably another KevC. I know there's another KevC from Cork on some forum. If I am who you think I am, I got a Citroen C2 VTS.

Hi Guys I'm looking to join this group buy also, not on here much but I'm a long term member on Irishrotary.com (gav240z)

Just to confirm the kit consists of?

    1.
It includes both size backing plates along with 3 pads to go with each.

1* ...DAS-6 Dual Action Polisher (6" backing plate incl)
    1* ...3.5" Backing Plate
3* ... 4" Polishing Pads (Heavy, Medium, Finishing) Chemical Guys Hex Logic
3* ...6" Polishing Pads (Heavy, Medium, Finishing) Chemical Guys Hex Logic

    1* ....3M 3434 Blue Masking Tape 25m

    €170 delivered

    2. Do I need to buy a clay bar detailing kit separately? If yes, then I'm interested in getting a clay kit with the group buy if possible?

    3. Do I buy here?
    http://www.detailingshed.com/group-deal/119-boardsie-dual-action-polisher-group-buy.html

Or is payment collected via another means?

    4. How many do we need for the new group buy?

    Add me to the list!

    Hi Gav! RX7 or RX8?

    Yep, that's the kit you'll get ;)

We need 10 people to complete the next GB.

Payment details will be organised when the time comes and it's with www.detailingshed.com. I don't know if they'll be using that GB thing you posted but just check back here every so often.

With regard to a clay kit, JerCotter7 is dealing with that as he hi-jacked this thread so if it goes wrong, it's his fault, not mine :P

Thank you for your support :D

    FD3S RX-7 :)

Can't wait to see what a good polish will do to it's appearance.

RX8's have definitely grown on me since having the FD.

Will keep an eye on this thread, might get a clay and sealant / wax kit separately.
