Bye bye Super Bowl defence. This team couldn't stop a thing. Typical of flacco to have a good game against us and was brutal last week

Really disapponting guys. This team has lost that killer instinct and we can't find that level of consistency. Ultimately TC, Perry Fewell and Kevin Gilbride have to shoulder the blame of this Coughlapse.

Honestly I'd bench Nicks next week to get him recovering now and bench lots of guys on the defence. Tuck, Webster, Osi etc. can all say good bye to NY IMO.

Wilson has to be our no. 1 going forward. Lets get Randle moving and let's see a few more rookies and 2nd String guys that want to play for the G-men get more snaps.

I just don't think Coughlin will make those decisions tbh.

The cough lapse will be blamed on tiredness from the offseason. We'll come back with the same ****ty o-line n Blackburn will still be our MLB. Failwell n Gilbride will still be co-ordinations.

Yeah I don't see anything changing. I think a lot of guys need to be cut or take pay cuts etc.

Honestly it's amazing how bad or defence has been. Fewell is a huge problem. Gilbride is far too predictable and calls an awful lot of bad plays. We badly need change.

I think Coughlin might step down tbh.

    Gilbride and Fewell out.

I hope we don't make the Post season. It will be embarrising and we need higher draft picks

    OL first pick please.

I wouldn't mind getting Chance Warmack. He would be massive upgrade over Snee. I'd like to see Snee n Diehl cut. Resign Locklear and promote Brandon Mosley from practise squad. Beatty is ok at Lt, Baas will do for now at centre n Locklear is stop gap at Rt but we need to get a lot younger along the line to protect Eli.

I think DT, LB and the entire secondary needs to be improved. We have not got a lot from the past couple of drafts n it's starting to hurt us

As much as he should be there is a 0% chance Snee gets cut under TC.

I guess when your head coaches son in law you prob won't be cut really. Well at least get rid of Diehl (that stupid tattoo on his arm annoys me!)

    BELIEVE!

Tom Brady, the Packers, the 49ners and the Broncos are opening up the New Years Eve bubbly a day early following the elimination of the most feared team in the NFL Playoff modern era, the New New Giants.

We are what we are, a 9-7 team. An above .500 team but just not consistant enough or good enough in certain areas. The same record was enough last year but not this. Its frustrating that a season that has had maddening losses against the likes of the Bengals, Steelers & Redskins also brought great wins against the Packers & 49ers.
Im not saying we need a new head coach but questions have to be asked due to the fact that apart from the 2 Super Bowl runs we have never made the playoffs under Coughlin.
New ideas, players and maybe new co-ordinators are needed to give us a decent shot next year

Don't flatter yourself. Winning a SB last year with that win-loss record was a virtual miracle. But the Giants won the SB for one reason - Eli Manning and a strong pass rush. This season Manning has been dire at times and just hasn't had that 4th quarter mojo he had last season. I have always like Manning as a player, he has tremendous ability and is an absolute gent imo. But you guys just need to stop being consistently inconsistent. Tom Coughlin led you to two SB's and I think it's a bit fickle for some Giants fans to be calling for his head. Personally I would be be more concerned with some coaches and overhauling the coaching staff and structure.

Firstly it doesnt matter how you do it as long as you do it. To suggest the Giants win last year was a miracle is petty.

Secondly, I am pretty sure A. Rodgers and Mike McCarthey are glad they are playing the Vikings next weekend and not the Giants. Likewise the 49ners would not fancy playing them either. These two points give credence to my original argument so no Mr Maximus Im am not flattering the Giants.

Some call it luck, I call it a miracle, same difference to me. Worst win loss record ever and 4 of those were skin of your teeth victories by 3 points or less. 2012 was the Giants year alright, ye rode your luck. 10 fumbles during the play-offs, 2 during the Superbowl and 8 of those bounced right back into the arms of Giants players, including the two super bowl ones. I mean come on ffs.

Even The New York Times acknowledged the luck factor..http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/05/sports/football/five-moments-when-luck-went-the-giants-way.html?_r=2&hp&

Sorry pal, but if you guys faced Arron Rogers right now with the form he's in. I reckon he'd rip you a new arse hole. Seems like you really need to get back down to earth and lose some cockiness.

This is the same packers who the giants destroyed about a month ago?

Which is now as about as relevant as the first game of the season. Btw, I assume that was a failed attempt at quoting what I posted earlier in your last post? Because it was exactly what I said minus the quote tags.

Is it not ironic that you tell us Giants fans to stop been cocky and ignorant yet you feel the need to point out a typo error in an effort to 'WIN' an argumeet. There is only one person on their high horse here Corvus Maximus but this horse of yours I predict will get a kick in the teeth by a Denver Bronco soon enough.

My point was that Rodgers had the chance to beat a "poor/lucky" giants in the playoffs last year and in the regular season this and failed to do so both times. Btw are the quotation tags ok with you this time

I was addressing one poster here and any not other Giants fans. Maybe reading posts correctly might help you see that. Cocky you say? A guy re-posts what I said, I see no quotes tag and it causes some confusion. Now If you find pointing that out as being cocky, then you must have some serious hyper sensitivity issues. And what's with this juvenile 'Win' bullshít btw?

But just to remind you, this is what prompted me to post in this thread...

I don't think I have ever read a post full of such much self-delusion and arrogance. Wasting my time responding? Yes, of course. But I just had to call it for what it was.

Why? I think the status quo will remain (minus Osi) Really need to knock draft out of park or we could be in trouble.

Wat sort of contracts do you see Cruz n Bennett getting? Really hope they dont overpay Bennett. Easily replaced in Giants scheme

NY Post are saying Cruz wants $8-10 Million a year. I'm not sure how accurate that is but I wouldn't pay him that much and if that's what he's looking for then he won't be a Giant in 2013. I believe Cruz could get $10 Million off a team but I think he could get a $50 Million over 7 years.

As for Bennett who knows. I'd say we'll resign him. If he gets too pricey we'll move on but I think both parties will want a deal done.

Cruz and Bennett should be pretty easy IMO. Beatty is a must. Pay him. Also we'll have to extend JPP next year which could be a colossal deal like DeMarcus Ware's deal if he plays well.

I think it'll be a mess because we're not getting rid of our co-ordinators and we'll have to restructure a few contracts and have a sublime draft to be a consistent side.
