You got that the wrong way round. Atheists put a lot of store by being logical, rational and accurate. It's the religious who preach and who think, by never bothering to try anything else lest it punctures their worldview, think that everybody else does too.

Name me on athest writter who would fit this mold.

That is exactly what the National School system was established in the 19th century to do.. but it was hijacked by the various churches. It is what ET does today, but few parents have the choice of an ET school.

So I should send my kids to atheism classes?? :P Here we go again, so many theists think that atheism is a belief system (or, in effect, just another religion) and must therefore have dogmas, sacred texts etc. just like a religion does.

Yes some do Scientology for example

Scientology is a religion. It's the epitome of religions actually, given it's completely invented nature, the patently ridiculous guff that passes for dogma, the suspicion/hostility/violence towards outsiders and critics, and its insatiable thirst for the money of gullible and emotionally vulnerable people.

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

I'm raptured by the joy of it all.

So what? So is Buddhism and Jainism. That doesn't mean that atheism is a religion though. It has no beliefs or dogmas, no doctrines or rites and most importantly no suggestion of a continuation of existence after death, which is a necessary feature of religion.

Some evolution interpretations are dogmatic... I mean you have to take faith of leap in order to explain them...

Atheism has nothing to do with evolution. It is to do with belief/lack of belief in god(s).

Don't go there in this thread.

right, i understand it, but what makes majority of atheist to support materialistic evolution... If it has nothing to with atheism... I mean an atheist will do his best to explain the unseen mystery of life at cost of evolution.. Is there any atheist who doesn't support evolution.....

why do you say this ask harris and hitchens who dont rule out life after death in some form.Buddsism is an athiest religion not all athiests are buddists.
Not all christians are believers either and there are athiest priests.
Scientology does not have a life after death and is an Athiest religion.
Every thing you said above can be contradicted because it is just to general.
