It's not here yet, 2 boats collided in the north but don't know if it's a gps related incident.

It's due at at about 1:30 a.m. Eastern time Thursday -- with a margin of error of plus or minus seven hours. I think that's about 6am in Cork tomorrow give or take 7 hours.

Well I'll be in bed at that time so wont be using much electricity or GPS so......meh.

Well - if that's the end of the internet, that means it's the end of porn. Yikes, better start downloading and fapping now.

Well if you start getting any urges to assassinate the Premier of the Soviet Union just remember the safe word is "Cletus".

A large solar storm blacked out a large part of Canada nine years ago, more of a pain in the arse than a disaster!

Chances are that a few unconnected faults will be pinned on it!

If a few people die at 6am tomorrow then the solar flare will be blamed. No good 'breaking news' story is complete without a death toll however inaccurate

correct me if im wrong , but is this not part of the 11 years cycle , the sun changes its magnetic poles every 11 years and causes solar flares

now if we survived the last events , should we be concerned this time ?

    no

While all sense would tell you that nothing much if anything is gonna happen I'd still be a bit extra nervous if I was taking a flight in the morning.

I'm unplugging all my major electric appliances before I go to bed tonight. I'll sleep in easier on my lie-in tomorrow and it'll remind me of the 1970's.

The electric window on my car won't close. :(
Fully opened and the motor is working just stops all of a sudden at a certain point...

Coincidence or is the world about to end?

Yes as far as the sun is concerned, it's BAU!
