    It's no coincidence that the commentators on here that are pro parking outside peoples homes on a regular basis appear to be the aggressive (feet stamping etc) ones.

    And thank you for your permission to roll my eyes. Very kind of you. I won't stick my tongue out for fear of upsetting anyone.

    That's a sweeping generalisation there ... if anything IMO it seems to be that in general it is the anti-parking cohort that appear the most aggressive. Not that that is relevant. Also its not a simple case of pro and anti parking, its more to do with the fact that some people consider that you can't stop someone parking on a public road simply because you want to park there. Pleading the their moral fabric isn't going to change that. If it is such a concern, apply to the Council/Local Authority to introduce parking restrictions/p&d and then we can all get on with life.
