Customary "everyone eliminates the huge guy" line there, it's Khali's sole reason for existence these days

Sheamus & Bryan dont seem to have much luck at Mania, bumped to dark match last time, and this year they've this HIAC and Rock v Cena to totally overshadow
their title match (not to mention whoever Punk fights)

I think its remarkable that Daniel Bryan will be in a World Title match at Mania, nobody would have predicted that when he signed. Sheamus will be reasonably happy. The match itself will probably be 4th in terms of importance slightly behind Punk/ Jericho and of course the 2 monster matches Cena/ Rock and taker/ Trips which will be expected to bring in the bulk of the buys.

Been a fairly good raw all in all.. Hope Ziggler wins this and Jericho gets added to the match at Mania.. That's hoping though, more than likely a Jericho win..

Good RAW but wow it really drags when watching it live. So much easier when I watch it the next day without ads and skipping divas matches.

Botch with wade there, looked nasty. Shame, that's made a right feck of him and Orton for mania so.

When zigg landed on him you could see it as soon as he hits the floor

Ziggler landed on his jaw, whoever is on the stretcher must be fcuked

Maybe Shaq as ref? someone here was saying as much. Rhodes should go in with either Show or Santino, both would probably be decent matches

Great Raw, hands down better than last night's ppv. Shame about the botch with Wade at the end, hate to see someone pick up a nasty injury now of all times.

Looked nasty for Barrett and Ziggler there. You could see Jericho asking the ref what happened to Wade at the end.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,075 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Very good Raw overall, not much they could have done better...

That was some carnage when Big Show threw Ziggler out. Ziggler looked he took a wallop and also landed on Wade. Great moment but sorry for injured wrestlers. Great battle royal and an excellent raw.

Did Ziggler break his jaw or something? Those two will be missed on the WM card assuming the injuries are as bad as they look (though with 6 weeks to go they may have a bit of luck, wouldnt hold my breath though), both very underrated workers.

I guess randy orton will now be representing teddy long at mania in a battle for the gm role. Probs against del rio or Christian

Just rewatched Barrett. It looked like his arm completely snapped when Ziggler landed on him and you can see him in pain straight away. That must rule Barrett out of Mania.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,083 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Santino vs Otunga would be more likely, Orton or Christian to win Money in the Bank.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,231 ✭✭✭ceegee

Did Santino hit Wades arm on his landing?. EMTs didnt seem to happy at him landing in the middle of them working. Youd think theyd just avoid that side of the ring for eliminations when they know someones down injured.

Overall, thought it was the best Raw in a while. 2 good Cena promos (1 very good), Taker - HHH HIAC announcement is great, enjoyed the battle royale at the end, not much else from a wrestling point of view other than a few squashes.

Does open up the question of who'll face Orton at Mania

A broken arm could keep him out of the ring for months. Doesn't look good for him on the replays.

Nobody was hurt it was scripted.

So the RR was the best and final way to guarantee a main event match at WM.
Then the EC was the last chance to, but now it's the following night on raw...

This would have been a lot easier if Jericho had won the Rumble match like he should have been booked to do if the WWE had any sense. Sheamus could easily have gone this route as the younger superstar and there would have been no talk of Jericho's return being wasted
