Top selling doesn't mean she is a great writer though,.

Well I wouldn't know really cos I'd never stoop so low as to read one of her 'books'.

No, you can be George or Ringo or John, and you will pretend to look happy.

(until you are belted up on the way home, trying to decide if I get a 2 or a 3 ;))
I'm not happy, I want to be Patti so I can date George Harrison and Eric Clapton :D

    Christy loves his miserable songs.

He must have been tempted to kill off Joxer on his way home from Germany.

10 times better than the Natalie Merchant original:

He has some funny songs too, do you remember the one he sang about Bishop Casey?

You can come as Patti, but when you have enjoyed enough of my Midleton, you can slip upstairs into a cute little Ringo outfit ;)

Christy gave a concert in the Spa Hotel in Lisdoonvarna, in a tiny room about the size of a living room about 15 years ago. It was the best Christy gig I was ever at :)

Wow MrsD, you must've had connections to get in to see him in a tiny room like that? ;)

Seriously though, he was having health problems at the time and shortly after the gig he announced his retirement. Thankfully, it only turned out to be a temporary break.

You could always watch 'Bull Durham' on BBC2

It's a good movie, and Kevin Costner is in it. it's as close to a Whitney Houston tribute as you will get all weekend.

Not great MrsD. I don't think I've ever seen Michael Keaton in a decent film, apart from Jackie Brown. I'm with Skid on this one.
