It's the Northern accent. I'm the same with Pearse Doherty :D

Noooooo I'm from Donegal think Daniel O'Donnell believe me it's not a sexy accent!!:D:D

One of our greatest home grown culinary talents. First to win a Michelin star on this island if memory serves. Was featured on Anthony Bourdains No Reservations Ireland ep. Seems like a sound guy too. Would like to see him succeed. Unlike that Marco Pierre Douchebag.

I always liked Paul and Jean, he certainly cannot be accused of taking himself too seriously. I would be more inclined to take cookery advice from him that Marco.

I'm not a fan of Daniel's accent but Pearse makes me go weak at the knees. When he appears on Vincent Browne, I never remember anything he says but it all sounds soooooooo good :D

Rankin is ok, he is pretty down to earth.

He always reminds me of the guy from Benson.

O Connor is such a painfully bad interviewer. Just as the interviewee is about to delve in to something interesting for the viewer he interjects with a tedious unfunny quip.

Chefs and Food critics are obsessed with Michelin Stars.

Any Restaurants I have eaten in with Michelin Stars were distinctly average.

    I cook tastier food myself.

I think its a combination of accent and tone. Very smooth and easy to listen to.

He seems like lovely guy, I get the impression he is still mad about Jeannie, he really softens when speaking about her

Who ordered the second chef.. I'd already sent the first one back to the kitchen for being undercooked..

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,569 ✭✭✭✭ProudDUB

Great guy. Made me want to jump in me car, drive to Belfast and contribute a few bob to the coffers of his restaurant. Unlike that MPW prick.

    It's Travellers Weekend on RTE1

They should dig out a good Blackie Connors episode of Glenroe.
