Get as many terminally ill people on air as you can Joe, then crank up the misery and suffering.

    Dear Joe,

How about you organise a Funny Friday tour for old folks at the O2, the Cork Opera House, the TF in Castlebar, the UL Concert Hall and the Odyssey Arena and give the proceeds to the provision of Ippy? Not for everyone admittedly, but they would likely sell out, or at least turn a healthy profit.

Or, maybe start the ball rolling and give say, €50,000 of your incredibly hard earned tax-payer funded salary to a fund? That would be something to talk about, unlike your re-gifting of a prize which you selflessly  tweeted and talked about at length?

Surely either of those would be better uses of the resources at your disposal rather than just faking empathy at these unfortunate and desperate callers?

    Yours sincerely,
    ButtersSuki.

Were I an English national resident in Eire, and in her predicament, I would at least have investigated were I entitled to this treatment in the UK.

Don't tell Joe the Health System is "amazing here". Not while FF are out of power.

As a British subject, I'm sure she can avail of medical services there.

afaik, that could apply to any EU citizen (not sure about how much) in any of the 27 states.

Wonder if Bristol Myers are aware how Joe is painting them as some kind of charitable organisation who spend tens of millions developing these drugs and then give them away.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it only applies if something happens you when abroad on a holiday, then you're entitled to treatment there as if you were a citizen, but I don't think you can travel with a chronic or pre-existing condition and expect to get full treatment. Otherwise we'd all be over in France!

Joe in Inspector Clouseau mood again today. Similar results, minus the charm and comedic genius.
