I think this latest development with the teenage girl, really does highlight a new low with the Church's hardline stance. At least with the likes of Brian D'Arcy, they are adults who can handle themselves and the media spotlight.

But bringing a teenage girl into the national consensus through their 'rules' is just nasty.

They deserve even more criticism now!

Would it not be easier to convert to protestantism?

yes it would be easier but..because of our troubled history, protestantism is still a big no no in the republic

    I think its great!

Joe attempting to show how wonderful and understanding the church is and he keeps getting shut down. He really needs to find a new faith.

Home Rule or Rome Rule Duffy! Get off the fence!

Ashbourne school racist sorry concerned Catholic was on Lunchtime on Newstalk just now. She was allowed read clearly prepared statements on air uninterrupted. She was infinitely better prepared for Newstalk than she was for her Lahv Lahn appearance a few weeks ago.

Not to be pedantic Joe, but doctors aren't allowed prescribe drugs like "Ippy"(they're likely even aware of its existence pre last week); only Consultants are. But hey, why let facts get in the way of your skewing of this story?

:) all de tings dat de depa'tment e helt us'da do when Joe had his 'incident'.

Really hamming up the Ballyer' accent today - all to boost his populist profile as man o'de liddel peeple.

Duffy could give the Shinners lessons in rabble-rousing.

Am I the only one detecting a bit of an accent on Martin?

was he off some where else working for a long time?

If he was and IF he paid taxes there, then he would have entitlements or credits built there
