"Is that a NEW baby"... (what a stupid question)

"My kids will probably be out of here in fifteen years"

That comment really irks me. Why don't you encourage your kids to study so they can get a job that is in demand?

While I accpet there is a skill when it comes to driving trucks, there are so many industries that need people in Ireland that cant be found because everyone left school to go build houses and drive trucks during the boom.

I'd like to see how he gets on with the locals there, especially with no Drumcondra Mafia around to protect him...

I heard he got ran out of Fagan's (his Local) recently and is no longer welcome. I have no quotable source or anything, but it made me chuckle :)

I know it might sound trite but if people involved within the construction industry (engineers, architects, and the manual workers) were effectively retrained in the IT sector, I think it would make massive inroads for the country. Again, bit of a pipedream...

never gonna happen, trying to teach a 40 year old plasterer about polymorphism ?
