Negga was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where she lived until she was four, to an Irish mother and an Ethiopian father. Her father died in a car accident when she was seven.[2] Negga was raised in Dublin by her mother. She now resides in London, and still continues to visit Ethiopia.

There is no need to be nervous Ruth, you are among your own there!

Of course, Brian O'Driscoll did look he wasn't in the mood while he was introduced earlier.

Anyone else think they take the thanking wayyyyy too seriously!! I'd love someone to go up and say "yep it's all down to my brilliant acting so thanks to me goodnight!" instead they thank everyone they ever met! drives me nuts!

"It's about f**king time. I should have won loads of these by now. Who judges these things? it's all about who you sleep with, not how good you are. See you in Hollywood, losers."
