Wow. A politician that did not make me want to kick my cat as I watched him speak. And I don't even have a cat.

Well deserved round of applause from the audience when he was done.

Stephen Donnelly seems to know what he is talking about.

Money is definitely certainly not a child's toy in my mind. But, to the politicians mind during the boom, it certainly was treated like that.

No one who is ever paying a large mortgage now is not treating it like child's play, they are treating the mortgage as they are doing in the real world.

Stephen's Quote: 'Mortgage debt is killing the country'.

This is part of Ireland's real world now!

It needs to be tackled quite quickly if the politicians fit their mind to it.

The band is quite crappy I have to say! Agreed.

Obviously a major unemployment problem in Belfast, given the gang of them that's in the band!

Best part of this nonsense is listening to this socialite (aka hairdresser from Ballyfermot) pronounce words like harm and phone and after as "horm" and "foon" and "ofter". She makes Rachel Allen and Ross O'Carroll Kelly sound like gurriers from god knows where. Poseur party of one, your table is ready !

I've seen trannys in Vegas look better. And yer woman doesn't look much better !

    Is she from Ballyfermot??? Seriously??

Balinteer. I stood corrected a few pages back.

Totally agree. Take Brian Lenihan for example. I am not one to speak ill of the dead. BL was an absolute gent to his finger tips & one of the few decent FF'ers around, but what the eff was a barrister (and one who hadn't even practiced as one for 15 years to boot) doing as our Minister for Finance? It's madness !
