They had load of beds in Blanchardstown at lunchtime and were putting more stuff on the shelves.

I got a cheapo €10 bed in HomeWorld in Blanch a few doors down from HS&M a while ago and the dogs LOVE it!!! PetStop sell them as well.

:o My girl is far too easy on toys, beds and doggy-coats. If she'd only destroy a few I'd have an excuse to buy new ones!

Having lost (another) pair of sandals today as they obviously hadn't been left high enough above doggy jumping height, I'd be glad to lend you a destructive chewer for a while right about now... ;)

They had extra strong squeaky balls last year, I'll definitely be getting some if they have them again, and a few new bowls, and I always get a few spare beds. I got the blue memory foam ones last year and they were great and I always like the waterproof ones, they're nice and strong.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,362 ✭✭✭borderlinemeath

The prices aren't live online yet (probably not til Monday) but all the pet stuff are there if anybody wants to have a nosy - I don't think you can purchase online with the code, but it shows all the products anyway.

Aldi pet specials on Sunday! I plan on buying all the tripe and sausies(for hiding Bailey's medicine)!! :D They have a nice copy of the Halfords mesh dog guard too for only €28

I wonder if I could join two together and make a tailgate guard?

Lidl sell tripe all year round as well just in case you some how manage to run out! (not sure how it compares price wise to Aldi big box though)

Our two love it, but it sure does stink!

These ones are are nice big pieces so perfect for Bailey with his jaw - of it's too small he can't chew it as well and will swallow it...and puke it back up!

LOL I WISH! I'm just window shopping most of the time because they have too much junk so apart from food I rarely buy them anything! Wait I'm wrong - I spent 59 cent on a jar of bubbles for Lucy the other day lol :pac::pac:

I used to get my dog food there before I discovered Zooplus. I think even with the €10 off they don't beat Zooplus.

As a side issue there's an Equipet in Dundalk Retail Park now.

I don't think many can beat zooplus! I'm a bit picky with treats since Bailey's jaw op - I like to make sure they're even sizes, won't be too thing that he might give up chewing on them etc etc... but I try not to pay full price for them lol! :pac:

Kavanaghs beside Supervalu Sundrive are doing beds for 5e. Just normal rectangular cushion ones. Easily big enough for our large lurcher.

Unsure if this is just my local Supervalu but they're selling the Naturo dog foods for 1euro each, normally 1.50. Mine love it, they have 3 tyes in stock, Chicken, Lamb and Duck

Edit, just checked online and it's nationwide

Does zooplus get in on the Black Friday thing?

What would be my chances of getting dog food reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

I'm estimating the dogs nuts will be coming to an end around the 8th of December so I'll have to stick in an order a week before hand. If zooplus takes part in Black Friday, I might as well take advantage of offers. I'd probably need a miracle though to find the very food I buy reduced. A few dog toys for Christmas will be good though.

Do you get email alerts from Zooplus so you get details of the offers? I can't remember it last year TBH. They have a Christmas treat section now: http://www.zooplus.ie/shop/pet_supplies_specials/xmas_market

I get emails in Germain. It's only a matter of gathering the time to copy and paste into Google translate.

I think it's more extra loyalty points and then the same stuff they always reduce.
